Good for us IMO. Means that we (hopefully) get a fully healthy TC from day #1 of the 2010-11 season and his big fat expiring contract that might be very trabelable during the season.

Chandler's return to the Bobcats does not, however, mean he'll be wearing a Bobcats uniform next season. Sources say that the Bobcats have explored a number of trade scenarios and that there's a good possibility he could be moved this summer.

Re: Tyson Chandler Considering To Opt Out?
I think we have a win win win in this thing.
If Tyson chooses to stay and wants to remain a Bobcat long term then we get to see how he plays this season and if he's back to 07-08 form we can resign him then and we've got a strong, athletic defensive center for years.
If Tyson chooses to stay and wants out after this year then he is going to play his heart out this year and we can potentially try to move him before the trade deadline or worse case lose him for nothing and get salary cap relief.
If we move Tyson now then I think we'll get something nice back (we better) because he's a fairly riskless proposition since he's in the last year of his deal. Any trade partner would also be able to see how he does for a year and then re-up him. They will be risking losing him for nothing also after year-end which might discount what they send to us but we'd be in the driver's seat on that anyway so as long as we are happy we can pull the trigger.
