I just thought it could be useful to have all candidates and sure things on one place; and that it could be interesting to look back one day seing who we'd in camps before the cut.

Anyone heard anything about Flip and where he might end up? Call me crazy but my gut tells me he could be back (although I am not sure how we pay him).

I doubt he'll be back in Chicago next year. I think it's a safe bet that Flip, Hughes, or another veteran SG on the cheap will be on our team next year. Augustin will probably start at PG so he won't be available for backup minutes at the two. I don't see Henderson playing 20 minutes per game next season.

There was an article in the Charlotte Observer a little after the season ended. In the article Flip said that he wanted to return to Charlotte. I can't imagine Larry bringing back Hughes and Graham at Flip's expense.

I think Graham could be brought back regardless of it Flip or Larry returns. I think Graham returns if UPS isn't ready or if we just need the extra depth.

I think Hughes would be the cheaper option but Flip would be the better option.

Clemente and Collins are very good ball players, but they're both small. I still think these guys could give D.J a run for his money.

I can give you an update as he is currently playing down here for Australia against Argentina.
Unfortunately he has again put on weight and I really have concerns that he is a bit weak mentally. He originally quit his College career as he got home sick and seems to struggle to find a role in the NBA. Or maybe he doesn't want to, he was once quoted saying that he enjoyed playing in our league as he could be a big scorer by easily overpowering smaller opponents and that he didn't like being made to play a different role in the NBA.

I truly think his NBA career is over unless Brown can somehow get through to him.
Physically, when fit, he could be a reserve Pf/C in the NBA, but I don't think he has the drive or mental toughness to make it.

Edit: This is how Jawai was described on an Aussie forum:

"He looks like Oliver Miller after he just ate Sean May." :o

Thanks for the info. I even found out he had some knee injury and cardiac abnormality. Well, currently we don't have sher need for centers, at least as long as Tyson and Nazr are not traded away without big body returning. We'll see how he will be doing though.

Well, I think we just brought in two centers just to have them on the team. I would be very surprised if either one (Jawai or Sow) made it to training camp.
