Mavs Fan question?

Post#1 » by jcldallas24 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 1:44 am

Hey Bobcats' fans and all....

I was wondering if ta'll could give us some input on the players we received Tyson Chandler, and Alexis Ajinca....

Im very interested in Ajinca wondering if he could eventually become a rotation player? Chandler does he still have his athleticism or is it completely shot to death with his knees?

I'd give ya'll info on Carroll, but im sure ya'll pretty much know him. Najera well he's still a good hustle player to have off the bench he was sort of our oppresor off the bench which is pretty sad lol...IDK what ya'll are doing with Dampier but last year was his best year we've seen in the 6 years we had him, and that was only because it was a contract year. He cannot score whatsoever but he has pretty good defense to man down the post.

Thank You

Tyson can pretty much catch the ball near the rim and dunk. He can play a little bit of defense, only because of his size really. I think he's still got some athletically and I expect him to be healthier this coming season. He seemed to have a bad attitude on the court a lot last year to the point where I had enough of him and was happy when he wasn't playing. Bad attitude i.e. blows a layup, commits a foul, then whines about it out of frustration

Ajinca...don't hold your breath. He's not going to work out IMO

Ajinca has no future in this league, i think everyone in here pretty much gave up on him... I remember Larry was horrified when he first saw him.

Chandler's feet are made of glass and he's possibly a WORSE finisher than Dampier. He's still a good man to man defender in the post but i doubt he will contribute for a whole year, he's rather done.
Good luck with them

Considering he probably saw him first (live) at pred-draft workout where he dominated his group (Hibbert, McGee, DeAndre Jordan) and we later drafted him because of that, that seems to wrong to me.

So are there any pros/cons to Ajinca been looking back at some of the games he's played in hasn't looked half bad....Actually looks like a decent prospect.

Also Chandler last year did look injured but he's saying in Dallas he's back to full health and can help our team..

Full health and Tyson Chandler probably shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.

It would be like me saying I would buy the Bobcats as soon as I have 5 billion dollars.

let's be honest here, Lexi blows and it's save to say we all gave up on him.

I still think he has great intangibles and potential, I just doubt he'll ever live up to them.
