derek harper, ive never thought of that comparison for ray, but not a bad one. he's more like the older knicks harper than the younger mavs harper though.

And hey, if the Knicks end up with Paul, they can play Ray at SG.
He'd be the next Larry Hughes, which would be awesome.

Re: I mean no offense
I think the biggest issue with Ray is that he thinks too much out on the court. He needs to relax and let his instincts take over. It will be interesting to see how he performs in a more up tempo offense where he won't have as much time to think. That is a good thing.
The bad with Ray is his confidence level. He will get booed in NY if he misses a couple of shots or gets beat on defense, which I'm not sure if he's tough enough mentally to deal with that. If Ray thought Jameer was tough on him in the playoffs, just wait and see what happens in November at the Garden, he will get booed off the court if he plays like sh*t. Is he tough enough mentally? Thats the question with him. hmmm

I know what you mean, but I feel like I'd be offended if somebody told me to stop thinking because its hurting the team when I do
I'm smart dammit!

You just got lesson number one: don't think; it can only hurt the ball club.
