Nobody was more competitive than Zeke and, Tiny/Nash were/are fearless players with tremendous amounts of confidence every time they stepped on the court. DJ is not in the same league as those players. He does not believe in himself like those players did. He lost his confidence early on last season and never gained it back.

When you look at DJ, ask yourself, what is he really good at? He's quick, he can make the occasional open shot, he can hit open teamates, but what NBA point guard doesn't have these same skills? I didn't see too many Bobcats games from his rookie year, but from what I saw, there's no one thing DJ is really good at. This is his biggest problem which is why I wrote that he needs to really develop some sort of offensive that can make him stand out over the other point guards and players on the court. Livingston is a huge point guard that can pass, score over other point guards inside, and make plays, so honestly he's already got advantages over DJ as long as he can stay healthy. DJ's got his work cut out for him but if he works hard he can do it.

DJ already has a real well developed 3 point shot. hes not much shorter then CP3, so its not like CP3 has the physical capabilities DJ doesn't have, he just needs to develop that mental game, hes mentally weak right now
