Did Nazr really have a 20/20 night. Damn, only if he had 10 more rebounds and eight more points. Would have been a big FU to Kevin Love.

Anyone know why Gerald didn't play tonight? If there was no reason given, I'd guess that there is a trade in the works. Three minutes against Washington, none tonight, and it's not as if he was playing badly before. At least Carroll played, he should play more.

Sorry Jaruff...no trade. He has a sore knee which he hurt in preseason which is the reason for the reduced minutes against Washington. Had an MRI today. Sucks because he's looked VERY good so far.

He can put up as many 10 assist 8 pt games as he wants...his 10 assists are about half as valuable as a 10 assist game from DWill, Chris Paul, etc. He creates no offense. He can't score at the rim to save his life. He'll never "win games" for this team, aside from the very very occasional good shooting game against a team who has been lulled to sleep by the Bobcats crappy style of play.

You don't have to be a top 3 player at your position to be better than a backup point guard you know...

DJ played good all game, got ripped by arguably the best point guard in the league who also happens to be a physical beast. Sh*t happens.

S-Jax guarded Deron. DJ did not play good all game. He was a no-show for the final 16 minutes of the game.

Um, it's called paint, and I'm just having fun with it. My photoshop skills do suck though but don't have to be an ass.

I never said DJ guarded Deron. I said that Deron ripped him.

DJ did lose the reigns at the end of the game. A part of me hoped that he'd step up and take control, but we all know that he's not that kind of player right now. The whole team just seemed content with Jackson chucking nonstop and the defense was collapsing... they got scared, it was easy to see for everyone who was watching. They panicked, Utah feasted, hopefully lessons were learned and guys grow up.

I'm more happy about the way the team played today than any other time this season though... hope they continue to play with this kind of effort in the future, choking aside.

what a frustrating game. our defense in the 2nd half did nothing to slow down utah's efficient offense. certainly we couldnt expect deron, milsap and jefferson to all play as poorly as they did in the first. sadly, all 3 seemed to get anything they wanted in the 2nd, especially jefferson and milsap. i thought dj and wallace were really disappointing in the 2nd half. neither player did anything to impact the game in a positive way in the closing stretches. without nazr we might have lost by 20. we really needed tyrus tonight. i think his energy could have disrupted milsap and jefferson in the 2nd, at least enough to slow down their comeback enough for us to win. najera was pitiful in his minutes as was livingston, who outside of hitting two nice pullup jumpers, he did nothing. i dont think he made a play to create offense for anyone else all night. overall the bench was just terrible. but i really enjoyed sitting in one of the suites tonight. that was fun.

I liked Najera... I don't think he's going to put up any kind of significant numbers, but the guy knows where to be on the court.

Derrick Brown seems increasingly useless though. If he's not dunking, he's probably not doing anything else.

It appears that way during the 1st quarter, but the seats filled up and the crowd was really alive. Usually what you see on tv is only a small portion of the crowd, premium seats and expensive. I'm really proud of the support that the Bobcats are getting now.

I blame Larry. Livingston-Carroll-Brown-Najera-Diop lineu in the 2rd was terrible idea. Only Hammer looked for scroing. Diop and Najera were just for offensive rebounds, tip-ins and screens - no way we would run plays for them, Shaun wasn't confident enough to look for his own shot and rather passed up and UPS, UPS is just an opposrtunistic scorer. it was painful to watch us forcing Carroll to shoot.

We waited till last second with 1 full time out and two twenties. With tired starting five and little fresh bodies on teh bench. I was expecting at least Diaw will catch a breath with 5 fouls (UPS didn't play a minute in 4th). instead LB played our starters no matter how tired they were. No breaks. No Livingston, Carroll or Brown for a possesion or two. Instead we waited till there is almost no time to do some heroics and then tried to save it by last resort time out. Again.

Of course, Tyrus and Gerald missing was a bad factor, especially Tyrus could make a difference here and there but that happens.
