LA Clipper (NOT A FAN) Trade Idea

Post#1 » by BigLos2010 » Sun Nov 21, 2010 5:24 pm

Just want to know what Cat fans think...

If you were offered Baron Davis and Chris Kaman for Nazr Mohammed, Boris Diaw, and Matt Carroll, would you do it? I think the Clippers' best lineup no longer involves Kaman and Baron. I also think a lineup of Kaman, Tyrus, Wallace, Jackson, and Baron (or even a backcourt of Baron and Augustin, a frontcourt of Jackson, Kaman, and Wallace, and move Tyrus to the bench), would essentially make the Bobcats a lock for a playoff berth, where Baron plays at his best.

I don't know, just interested to see what y'all think.

i hate baron. i think he is a lazy bum who steals money from the nba. however, kaman would really fit in nicely with our squad. i would probably put up with baron in order to get kaman. maybe baron, reunited with jax and on a team with playoff hopes would get his ass in shape long enough to make some plays. baron is good when he is motivated.

i'd probably pull the trigger, since it doesnt ever appear we are going to rebuild anyway.

Both are injuried, so it makes a helluva stupid trade atm and Davis contract is so toxic it would kill every hope for success in the near future

Baron Davis sucks. Yeah thats right, he sucks!! He's fat, out of shape and INJURED. Terrible attitude, bad on defense, CHUCKER, is never healthy, and the only thing more bloated than his overrated ass is his horrible contract.

Why are fans always trying dump these bad players with bad contracts on the Bobcats???

Baron Davis makes youtube video rather than going to the gym and get his ass in shape.
He's injured, overpaid, overrated, and he sucks.

And I like Kaman, but he's too injury prone. This would be Pussyfoot all over again.

This.

I would 100% welcome Kaman onto the roster but want no part of Davis or his $41.5 million dollar 3 year contract.

Close but no cigar. While I love Baron Davis, he's not the same Baron Davis that he was when he played in Charlotte. Plus, unless we trade Jax or DJ, there's no need for him on this team.

The only way that I would accept Baron in a trade is if Eric Gordon is included and we know that's not happening.

Baron Davis only cares about LA. If you've noticed, he's been trying to get back to LA since he was drafted. Now that he is there, its a party. He could care less about the NBA.

I hate Baron Davis he's an overpaid BUM. Don't want any part of his fat lazy a*s or his contract. He was good and he was good to watch but that's clearly left behind in the dust now.

Meh, Baron would be good if this was say 6 years ago, also Kaman like Okafor in the fact that he will be out of like half the season with a sprained thumb or some other bull excuse

Its really laughable that anyone would suggest a Baron trade, unless its to the Lakers. He loves LA that much.

Think about how funny it would have been for Elton Brand to stay with the Clippers instead of running off to Philly.
