- lb of course didnt help by playing collins.

One of these two does not make sense. Which is it? Play DJ full time despite his flu symptoms, keeping Collins on the bench, or play Collins some?

um... play livingston at backup pg and dont play collins any. thats the solution.

Did he play at all.

Thanks for the break down Fats. Couple of questions:

1. DJ took 15 shots and only 4 of them were from 3. What sort of shots were they? Drives, mid range J's, spot ups, floaters etc?

2. Dom went 5-6. How did he get his baskets? J's, drives, off assists, creating his own shot etc?

3. 6 turn overs to Boris. Really? Were they typically bad ones, or just unlucky ones?

4. How did Livingston look?

5. Should Team Slam be picking Sanders up from the waiver wire?

6. Why is LB such a knob?

1. dj was shooting from all over, got to the rim some, hit some nice pull up jumpers. offensively his shot was solid. i was not happy with his play as pg however. he really seemed to miss jax.

2. dom scored at the rim. drives to the basket and he had two put backs of offensive rebounds. he was very active.

3. boris was awful all around. a mix of bad passes and unlucky i guess.

4. shaun looked great as a scorer. he is money from that ft line jumper. still not seeing much from him in terms of running the team.

5. no

6. because he is a 70 year old stubborn man who only knows one way to skin a cat.

did who play at all? collins? he played 3 minutes in the 2nd half and we were -3 with him on the floor. livingston played 27 minutes. collins isnt the reason we lost, but he never helps the situation. i'd rather play mcguire at pg before i put collins in there. he has no business on this roster right now. he needs the nbdl.

Yeah, it was a pretty poor performance by everyone not named Dom McGuire last night. I couldn't hardly watch it, my interest in this squad is seriously waning unless they shake up the roster.

I think Collins is better than most of this board gives him credit for. Sure he's not anything other than a third stringer, but I don't think he will always be that way. Putting him in the Dleague doesn't seem like a bad idea, but if he isn't there 3 minutes in a game where your starter has the flu isn't so bad.

This is starting to remind me of the 19 win knicks team.

the jazz played that same bucks lineup tonight... that same injured, thin frontcourt with only 3 healthy bigs: sanders, moute and brockman. the jazz showed what a real team does to that pathetic frontcourt, they outrebounded them 48 to 28.

I see Jennings put up similar numbers Vs D.Will as he did against DJ?

Jennings is a pretty good offensive player, I don't get why people think DJ dropped the ball on him. It's not like Jennings hasn't scored 55 points before. We know he can score.

because its not like jennings was scoring with dj hanging all over him. jenning kept getting wide open looks from 3. several times i saw dj float off jennings (when he was red hot) to go and cheat in the lane against guys like moute and sanders. and of course the ball would swing back to jennings who didnt have anyone within 10 feet of him. certainly defending the 3pt line is a team effort. its not all on dj, but i think dj should have realized that jennings was one of their only reliable scoring options and shadowed him around the floor. if jennings still would have put up those numbers with dj all over him, then hats off to jennings.

If the same player is doing the same thing you consider to be a msitake all game, someone ought to have told him about it, and maybe taken him out and put someone in who would do it. If anything, that's a problem that LB might have caused or at least not helped. Still, Dwill is a good defender and probably had a hand in many of Jennings threes but he still scored.

I wasn't online the other night to comment but ...

Brown and McGuire are them dudes. Best FA pickups ever.

And we suck. Horribly.
