LB is a great coach if he has the right pieces that are fit in his system. It's just that this team is not fit for him anymore.
Despite his shortcomings and misfit, I still love Coach Larry Brown. I doubt we would have reached the playoffs last year if he wasn't our coach.
Who else is nervous about Larry Brown?

Re: Who else is nervous about Larry Brown?
In today's Observer article Bonnell writes about how Jordan got pissed off and yelled at everyone after the Celtics disaster. Then Larry talks about how no one is working hard, except the guy he's always hard for:
Geez, is Larry planning to move to France and be this guy's grandad? Diaw has played a little better this season, but he's been as big a part of the problem in these latest loses as anyone. Last Night? Five pts, 5 rebounds, 3 assists in 35 minutes. And DJ looked like Larry has started drilling his head open again...the kid's flipped and looks HORRIBLE.
LB needs to hurry home before Christmas, so we can get a solid coach and GM in place, and BLOW IT UP!
"This is the culmination of what's been happening – this is the finale,'' Brown said. "If you play soft, if you don't execute, if you don't play hard, you're going to get embarrassed.''
Asked if any player was living up to expectation, Brown replied, "Maybe Boris (Diaw). I don't see guys setting an example, doing the things we need.''

I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Well in hindsight, you've got to admit that as frustrating as this guy is (only 2 FGAs yesterday which is.. unacceptable) he's almost the only one who actually does what it takes to win. He does all the little things. He's the one who sets up plays, gets the offense goin and isn't afraid to call everyone out and do the dirty work. In a well-oiled machine he could be very useful and i'm sure some other teams would take him as a nice ancillary piece. He just doesn't fit here anymore, just like Jax or GW. GW has looked like he didn't care in every game and has been missing everything while Jax thinks it's his team and is a frigging ball stopper. And DJ has been equally as bad.

Re: Who else is nervous about Larry Brown?
Of the most recent;
Pistons were a very good situation for Larry to fall into. They were already on the verge, and his Tarheel history helped get Sheed into a Pistons uniform.
Knicks- Imagine having 3 GMs at one job and having them all have very different styles. That team was a mess.
Bobcats- I went onto the Bobcats roster page and I couldn't find one player (Wallace is the closest) that I wouldn't mind seeing traded.
This team needs a rehaul. Not a total takedown, just some major/minor changes.
Might seem stupid, but I would honestly offer Philly Diaw and Diop for Elton Brand and a protect 1st. Philly saves money, Bobcats get a starting 4. And if Larry thinks he'll miss Diaw; add Najera to Philly for Nocioni.
Maybe not the greatest trade, but this can't afford to drift with what it has anymore.
