I think he did, but he didn't change anything, left the same 5 out there to screw around until the lead got to 17.

He's been imploring MJ to fire him since what, July? This **** is a joke.

a despairing coach is no coach at all. if you have a coach who spends his news conference lamenting players who are not there, team abilities that are not there, effort that is not there, then that coach has no business being in charge of the team anymore. there are plenty of grown men out there who have energy to put into getting the pieces of this roster, no matter how flawed they are, into the best position to compete night in and night out. i am sick of this woe is me crap from LB. so sick of it.

It's like we had some hidden gems rotting on the bench whose presence on court would have changed the outcome of the game drastically. LB's never been good at making in-game adjsutments (he never does) but as ohara pointed out, the (defensive) effort was decent for 3 quarters (mostly due to Collins in the game actually...) there were several luck shots that went down as well (Jackson, Collins) and then we broke down. These players are just terrible and unable to sustain a high level of play throughout a game.
Did you see Tyrus tonight ? He looked like hot garbage. Seems that any combination of players would have led to a collapse sooner or later because there's simply not enough talent in there to put the ball in the hole and opposite teams as bad as they play for stretches have to make runs at some point.

Kwame Brown - C
Boris Diaw - PF
Stephen Jackson - SF
Matt freaking Carroll - SG ?????????????
She-J - PG
Lord have mercy you have to be kidding me. I rushed to get to the arena tonight because I was actually looking forward to us taking on Durant. And what do I see when I get to my seat? Matt freaking Carroll getting introduced as a starter!! A starter!! Matt freaking Carroll!! So I knew I was in for a big treat of suckitude tonight.
Well the first good thing tonight was the waterboy Carroll didn't play much, must still be pulling the splinters out of his ass from all the time on the pine last year with Dallas.
The second good thing was DJ getting 2 quick fouls which saved me from watching those 2 stiffs for the rest of the first half.
The third good thing was Collins, he in all of his pudgy Bojangles chicken eating glory actually looked like an NBA player tonight. That was a helluva good job on defense by him. He's still a work in progress running the point on offense, but he kept us in the game and did a very good job I thought. Way to man up on D and actually get in FRONT of your man!You hear that She-J? Get in front of your man!!!
The fourth good thing was this game was over 3 minutes into the 4th quarter which allowed me to get the hell of there early and go get something to eat. I hate the regular concession food, only eat food there when I get the free club seats with the fancy food which unfortunately wasn't tonight. The food at the arena definitely matches the quality of food in Charlotte....HORRIBLE!! No offense to you native Charlotteans, but the food in this city tastes worse than the Bobcats play. ugh
The fifth good thing is that we're tracking towards the lottery and my wet dream of seeing Michael Jordan introducing Kyrie Irving as the newest member of the Bobcats in June is looking better and better every day.
So all in all it wasn't a bad night.
fatlever wrote:gotta say, collins wasnt half bad last night. seemed like the stint in nbdl did him some good. like battery mentioned, defensively he was pretty solid.
not sure what was up with tyrus last night. his shot was just off.
though ups had some nice mintues.
henderson still looks like another massive lottery bust for this franchise.
