Anthony Had No Interest In Playing For Jordan, Bobcats

Michael Jordan was interested in making an offer to acquire Carmelo Anthony until the forward informed the Bobcats owner through a representative that he had no interest in playing for Charlotte or signing an extension, according to sources.

The last sentence is most encouraging to me:

Charlotte forward Gerald Wallace and Boris Diaw have drawn significant trade interest, according to sources.

Sad that Jax name is not in that group, but I don't see where many teams would be interested in taking on his act with that contract. If we're keeping Tyrus (very likely), we'd need to get back a starting 2 and 5 if dealing Crash and Diaw.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I think we're fine for the starting 2 guard position, for at least this and next year. But you're right about the 5 for sure.

EDIT Isn't it time for a new trade thread?
