Just looking at Kwame's career numbers. He was essentially a 70% free throw shooter for the Wizards. How do you get consistently WORSE at free throws as your career goes on?

Rondo's problem is that his hands are too big. Kwame's hands are too small. Transplant time!

its hard to argue for Kwame's positive qualities when everyone is hung up on his negative qualities. I remember the first time someone asked Kwame why he never dunks with one hand and Kwame said its because he can't palm a basketball well. That was with the LAKERS!!! Nobody ever said anything about the size of his hands until then. Kwame played away from the basket alot while with the Wizards. He was really a finesse offensive player and actually could dribble drive and pass from the high post. Believe it or not he had a decent face up offensive game and could hit the short jumper. Then the Lakers morphed him into a Center making him gain about 30 pounds to 'be' a center. Kwame worked on his low post game and strength (which was already quite high). With the type of personnel they had in LA, he wasn't needed in his former role. The Lakeshow needed defense and girth down low and that is what Kwame morphed into. Ever since that slender muscle Kwame to the big massive Kwame happened, he has not been able to shoot free throws for whatever reason. Injuries also didn't help him get into the best of shape and when you try to gain weight and then get injured alot, getting out of shape is easier to do.

Kwame's journey has been interesting but yes he used to be a different type of player, but he has found a niche in the nba as a Big Center who can play 1 on 1 defense against both centers and power forwards. I think he has given up on the offensive end alot since teams have given up on developing him basically limiting any opps he used to get as a younger player
Kwame Brown is servicable, get over it.
