Is it just me, or does it seem like there is a real shift in what teams are looking for in a head coach right now? Is this the start of a whole new coaching generation?

Well, Riley just took a better job, so to speak, right? Thibs too, but becoming a head coach. I think teams that aren't in immediate contention for a title are willing to chance it on new coaches hoping to find a Phil Jackson, and are tired of coaches on the decline like Larry Brown. New blood is always good in basketball, it means there will be more options for teams moving forward.
