I'm going with no, as good as he is he won't lead us to a chip by himself & that's what he'd have to do if we traded our whole team for him & he won't sign in Free Agency.
He would rather sign with Miami for the MLE(if it exists) than sign with us for the max,I say that because he strikes me as the type of player that's about his legacy & chips, he's already survived a very serious injury.

Re: CP3 revisited
Now that I think about it, we would want higher max contracts and a lower salary cap. That would mean we could pay a lot more for CP3 than say, New York or Orlando could.

We are doing the right thing and obtaining assets, but we are going to need a team that looks like it could win before he will sign here.
Which is why Amare signed in new york right?
I don't think this argument really works. They want a team that will present them with a plan, maybe outline some guys they plan to pick up and stuff.

Re: CP3 revisited
I have maintained for years now that I would trade the entire roster to land Chris Paul (assuming he is extended with us).
Anyone who watched that Lakers playoff series was reminded at how incredibly dominant a player he can still be; to my mind he already should have been an MVP for his 07-08 season. These are not players who are easily acquired. I love Kemba Walker, but even my wildest fantasies for how good he can be do not add up to dropping 22-11.5-6.7 on .545 shooting against the freaking Lakers.
None of this matters, of course, because we are not getting CP3, ever.

Agreed except for the last part. There is always a chance we can get CP3 and you know Jordan will certainly try to get him.
CP3 in a Bobcats uni would look so damn nice...
