Kemba Walker Fantasy Value

Post#1 » by Faboloso403 » Wed Dec 14, 2011 7:58 pm

Hello Guys,

I'm in a fantasy keeper league and this is our second year around. I drafted Kemba walker 8th overall and I was wondering what kind of stat line/ fantasy value you expect from Kemba Walker this year.

I'm not sure how they will get him minutes because i see him as a starter and I know DJ and Hendo are penciled in as starters. Does Kemba eventually start if so where at the 1 at the expense of DJ or at the 2 in the expense of Hendo. I have been reading up a lot about Kemba and I became very excited when i heard Silas talk about his mid range game.

In terms of rookies do you think he will be ahead of his peers? My league is a dynasty keeper league so I'm talking long term value (potential to be an all star)- Brandon Knight

How would you rank him vs his peers in terms of what he can get accomplished this year?

ask us in a month after we've actually seen him play.

my gut says, 13ppg, 3rpg, 4apg, playing about 30mpg (maybe 20minutes as primary pg and another 10 as sg next to dj). but really nobody knows since we havent seen anything yet.

Just did my first fantasy draft of the year, and ESPN had his "projected" stats at around 15,3, and 4. I think 15 is a bit much, but I might be wrong.
