Maggette (Of course he's inefficient as hell, yet we will need these 20 points from him every game... I also loved those charges)
Mullens (Doesn't seem like you guys like him, but he will come in handy... At least he wasn't that bad today, I loved the range and he moved quite well on the defensive end... he could be a better rebounder though)
Kemba (That Steve Smith look-away move he pulled got him the 3rd spot)

A montage of Bismack's debut coming up...

how is maggette ineficinet?

He doesn't get anyone else involved by mostly taking a shot whenever he touches the ball, is mediocre on the defensive end and even though this stat is pretty primitive, his +/- was -13 - the worst from our team.

Well at one point Diop´s +/- were best of our team and he was best rebounder too...

As bad as Diop is, his presence did cause some disruption defensively and he was probably our best rebounder. The others were getting killed on the boards.

:x :x   Whew... If we have to depend on Diop for Boards we are in real trouble.
Last night was a stinker..but Mullens /BB looked good for first time off the bench.

PG's have to look to get bigs involved. More specifically Bismack. Missed him on several occasions on his way to the basket. I though Biz did a decent job on offense. He had a nice spin move and was able to shred his defender on his way to the basket, our PG's just plain missed him. I also thought they missed UPS on the way to the basket in transition once or twice. Are our PG's incapable of throwing a lob?

Maggette looked really good in the first quarter and turned into his normal self a bit as the game went on. Still though, I don't think you can complain about his defense. I thought he moved his feet very well on defense and did a good job. All-in-all I think he is an upgrade over Jackson. Not only on the court, but he is a MUCH better leader. Loved how after the game he said he is always talking to Kemba about being a floor general and how he will not be succesful until that happens. Hopefully it rubs off on Kemba.

primitive?
he has plenty of issues, i agree, but efficiency ain't one of those

It has been nice to have played two games and not see a Bobcat player go over the top at a ref on a missed call (although T2 does tend to have the ability to do that at times).

i was pleasantly surprised with maggette last night, at least for the first half. he did get a little selfish in the 2nd when things started to slip a little, but i can hardly fault him at all for our blowout, despite his worst +/-. I think last night was one of those nights when the +/- didnt do a good job of telling the whole story.

for a period there i was actually thinking to myself that maggette plays much like crash on offense. offensively their games are very similar, crash being a better leaper and maggette probably being a better mid-range shooter. but the style is very similar. maggette also has crash's knack for rebounding it seems.

kemba needs to keep the ball moving a bit more. he has a tendency to pound the ball in the same place while he tries to figure out what to do or how to get around the traps. and the shot selection is still suspect. i dont want a pg who shoots 38%. we went through that crap with felton for too many years.

Ugh... my poor English... What I meant to say is that the +/- stat might not always tell the whole story and basically isn't that credible.

As bad as it sounds he might be our best rebounder among centers. Even though he looks awful, he's playing decent basketball. I can't understand how can he contest all those shots and grab rebounds while basically not being able to jump.
