Looked like he was fouled on the shot with the follow through - or at least that's what he was playing for/hoping for?

Did not think we played our best, and still almost pulled it off. Gut wrenching loss.

Knicks fan here, I'm just curious of what you guys think of Shumpert?

Your team looked good tonight, kept fighting and didn't let the Knicks run away with it when they were down 11. Bobcats are scrappy.

Nah i think Fields hand was just enough to put DJ off. Good recovery by Fields. Damn that would have been something, oh well not like we're trying to make the playoffs.

Solid player, works hard defensively. Very streaky, always has been, going back to college. Wouldn't be the worst idea for him to tone the swag down a bit. Also, not a true point, and will stifle the Knicks offense against better teams if D'Antoni persists in playing him there.

I like what I've seen of Shumpert so far. In him, I think the Knicks have a good solid player. Not spectacular, but solid.

Yes, Shumpert is looking even better than he is because the rest of our guards have played terrible.
I like how Gerald Henderson has improved. Good solid player. That's the kind of player I want Landry to become..

Boring game, team loses and the rookies didn't get enough playing time. Worst possible outcome

I like Shumpert's confidence. He doesn't play like a rookie. Like the others said, he's solid but not spectacular. As a combo guard he could end up in a Jamal Crawford role(with better defence).

Just remember, given that Shumpert gets alot of minutes in a slim backcourt, if you translate the minutes accordingly, Kemba Walker would have as good, if not better stats than Shumpert. That's simply a fact. Shumpert has 29.3 minutes to average 12.5 points and Walker has 19.5 minutes to get 10 points. Assists and rebounds would also translate in Walkers favor while steals would still favor Shumpert.

I'm not knocking Shumpert. Like I said he plays with confidence and doesn't show any rookie nerves out there. But he has a long ways to go to be considered a top tier player.

My only real problem with Shumpert is that a lot of times he plays smaller than he really is. He would really settle for 3's a lot at Tech. If he worked hard to take it inside like Derrick Rose he'd be huge plus for NYK.

Shumpert reminds me a bit of Larry Hughes. I know many people on here hate his game. He is a big combo guard who has solid defense and solid at everything. Uses all parts of his game to be a very solid player. I think he would be a good fit for a team needing scoring, but He may not be the player the Knicks really need.
