We really don't need another forward on the roster (we've already got White, Najera, and Thomas taking the garbage minutes. If Maggs or Thomas or someone goes down again, then we should go for Renaldo.

I mean, I'm probably the biggest SC homer on this board but Balkman isn't that great. He's not really built for power and he can't shoot well enough to play on the wing. That was his problem coming out of college and the Knicks were dumb enough to take him in the first round. If we don't have White, Najera, or Tyrus, maybe we give him a 10 day look.

If we're going to make a lulz signing, it has to be Antoine Walker. Bring someone in that can go "kids, if you act like an idiot, you'll wind up like me." Might scare the idiots (Mr. #workharder) into #workingharder.

No signings are happening. To sign someone new we have to waive one of our 15 guaranteed contracts. Then add a new contract. Not going to happen.

BTW if we could sign someone right now, I'd like to see them sign Kyrylo Fesenko. His knee is reportedly re-habbed and he would add a monstrous D presence on the inside

Are the Nets quietly trying to stack the deck with bad players. I realize Keith Bogans isn't much, but replacing him with Andre Emmett? A guy who last played in the NBA in 04-05, and barely played, in spite of being a high 2nd round pick. Now Renaldo Balkman. Sundiata Gaines is playing quite a bit and has 5 starts. Petro is still playing, Mehmet Okur is quietly having a decent season.

Even money Brook Lopez comes up with a freak unexplainable injury if he isn't traded for Dwight Howard.
