Also, one of Batum's biggest issues was playing time and ever since about 10 games ago, Batum moved to SG which solved that issue. I think Batum will be let go if he gets a ridiculous offer, but otherwise we will match. That is, of course, pending on his performance over the next 23 games.

Really. If Nicholas is an unrestricted free agent why does Hoopshype report his qualifying offer as $3,166,230 ? Make sure you have your facts strait when you visit other people's boards to avoid the troll tag Bud. :P

There's a shot we get it next season because they probably won't be terrible enough to be a bottom feeder and I doubt they'll be good enough for the pick to be above 16-18. That's the exact scenario you hope for when you trade for the pick in the first place.

Kind of like when we got the Cleveland pick through the expansion draft, even though we passed on Chris Paul with it essentially.

Tell you one thing - it wont be between #4 and #10 in a deep 2012 class like the one they got from the Nets on Thursday!

Or the pick that we got from the Raps.

When did we get a pick from the Raps? Was that the Dudley pick? It's hard to remember these things because every single on of our picks ends up being wasted or leaves for zero compensation.

Just as a FYI Nicolas isn't upset at Portland. His agent is irritated, but his agent is also very new to this and Nicolas is his only client.

Little offtopic, but Chandler signed a 4 year deal with the Nuggets. Will hardly be any free agents next year
