So did the details of the proposed DJ to OKC trade ever come out? Though it may make me sick, I'm kinda curious.

Up until I saw him on the court last night, I was holding out hope that the trade would still go through.

yeah, maybe i was harsh, it just seems wrong that jax can go to the bucks, demand an extension before he plays a game, then half-asses it to the point of getting benched, only to get traded to a contender as a reward. plus, he never should have left the spurs to begin with, but he was chasing money back then.

And our pick increasing in value.

The moment I read this post. 3 years of top 12 protected (2013-15) and then its unprotected. Considering thats it not that easy to rebuild in the NBA, this could get interesting.

I was surprised to see the Lakers to find someone to take Walton, but I was surprised by that trade altogether.

I'm excited because getting the 13th pick is better than the 20th, and if they pick below 13 then it's no big deal for us.

Not sure why everyone thinks that Portland is rebuilding. They got rid of an aging Wallace for a potential top 5 pick, and traded away an old Cambly. They have a great amount of cap room now on top of that pick with a good duo of Aldridge, and Batum. They might be a little down right now, but I dont think that pick has really increased that significantly.
