I am completely baffled why Pistons fans come on this board. Their future is more horrendous than ours. Dumars thought that villanueva would help rejuvenate their franchise? Gordon has THE worst contract in the league. Knight is a nice asset, but they are stuck where Charlotte was stuck a year or two ago. You are average, and you will get an average draft pick. Have fun being"average"

I like Knight as a prospect (I wanted him over Kemba during the draft), Monroe is a nice big and Jerebko is a decent rotational player. The rest of their roster is pretty unappealing IMO. They've got a lot of albatross contracts.

As a Pistons fan, I kind of agree with Princeofpalace in the respect that Biz and AD would be somewhat redundant.

As an outsider, if I were you, I'd explore options of trading the #1 pick.

Someone will give a boatload to move up for Davis. What better way to get an influx of talent - multiple assets at that. Use whatever you get in trading the pick to build around your younger core.

you are a complete idiot. Davis is one of the most sure fire #1 picks of recent years.

Reminds me back when Bickerstaff didnt trade up to the #3 pick offering the 5th and 13th pick which resulted in Felton and May, and the 3rd pick was Williams. This isnt the NFL.

I'm not seeing the necessity of an argument. Both teams are equally sh*tty right now but if I had to pick between Monroe/Knight or Bismack/Kemba, I'd have to take the former. Monroe is what Greg Oden should have been. Knight is DJ Augustin/Jameer Nelson tier but I have to give the advantage to Monroe.

However, I think Detroit is on a path to Atlanta-style mediocrity and I'd rather not see that for us.
