I understand what you are saying, I guess the draft pick seems more of a known quantity at the moment.
Unless we draft Drummond, (not saying I dislike him, he is just risky) I'm sure we will gain at least, a decent player.

While I have no idea what type of coach we might get.

That is actually one of the angles of my question.

A draft pick influences (realistically) an individual result where as a head coach effects an entire team.

I am still shocked at the results so far.

I agree with you but the chances Cho will hit a jackpot with that coach selection (and is it really Cho?!) are slim and I would blame myself for wishful thinking if I put so much hope in that. As fat sadi we are probable to switch coach withing next years again (unless we strike gold, i.e. hof coach in the making and would be able to recognize that and if so not overruled by the rest of FO/owners).

And a good coach can only do so much if you give him a dysfunctional bunch of players who doesn't fit each other (not describing the Bobcats, generally speaking).

For about 10 years of my life I used to work either second or third shift. I would take the night of the Nba draft off as a vacation day every year.

'draft pick' only if it's #1 overall (Anthony Davis)

A permanent coach is more important than any player to this organization right now.. we're lucky that this summer, we are fortunate enough to be in a position to hire a head coach and pickup a top 4 pick. MJ has created the perfect storm for a franchise changing opportunity this offseason. Looking forward to see how this plays out

Do you mean what's more exciting, the 4th overall pick or hiring a coach?

I still picked the draft pick.
