Oh wait, it's a load of crap and you're blowing hot air.

I realize that this is just a 4 game stretch, but it was the most important 4 games of the season. I also realize that Marshall was out, but Barnes is going to have to be a big boy and learn to play without him at the next level.

Point is Beal has shown he can be an efficient scorer against tourney teams and shot the ball very well during this stretch. I think its funny everybody looks at every other prospect and makes excuses about how they will shoot better at the next level, but when Beal struggles a bit during his freshman season he is all of a sudden labeled an average shooter. Despite that he has been considered the best shooter in his class for the last 4 years.

Here are his stats from his senior year in highschool.

Shot 49% from three....

I've gone this whole time without claiming a favorite player for the #2 (other than Lamb, and that isn't going to happen). So now it's time for me to place my allegiance behind one of the popular guys out there. I've probably tipped my hand over the past few weeks with my big boards having him at 1b behind Lamb, but whatevs.

It's Brad Beal.

Sucks that he's become the hype magnet this past week or so because I've been on his train since before the season started and it seemed like I was the only one. When I saw him live in Columbia, I knew he was the guy I really had my eye on. He plays much bigger than he looks and was in command of the floor without having to control the ball too much.

I think he's a perfect match (other than Lamb) for Kemba and this team going forward. He can ably serve as a secondary ball handler, an elite floor spreader, and a tough leader that meshes well with the intense personalities of Bismack and Kemba.

Take Beal at 2, but don't trade him!

If you take Beal at 2 you better have a plan in place for Henderson. I think they may draft him only to trade him on draft night.

I think that may ultimately be the best move. Not sure if we will have a deal in place by the time we have to pick so go a head and grab him and find a partner.

Freaking Hendo and not having the same measurements as someone like Barnes while retaining his own skill set/attitude.

Hendo would be PERFECT as our long term SF playing next to Beal.

I just saw a quote somewhere that made A LOT of sense. You draft for talent, you trade for need.

Just because of the players we got, including Ben Gordon that does not mean we wouldn't take Beal at #2.

I follow the NY Giants in football and they live by a classic, disciplined method for their draft. BPA regardless of need (unless it's a QB). It seemed like they had too many DE's at one point but guess what, all those DE's helped win them a super bowl two times in the past 4 years.

Moral of the story is the Bobcats have no business basing this pick on need. Cho has players ranked and I hope if Beal is #2 on their board behind Davis then they take him.

Why not just draft Barnes. Hendo/Barnes = Profit. Beal/UPS = ?????

I agree but I'm not convinced that Beal is clearly better than ThoR and seems like plenty of scouts feel the same way.

If you value both players the same, do you then pick the position of need?

Draft for talent and trade for need is Chos way of thinking.

If you guys were to draft Beal would you consider dealing Henderson for Taj Gibson. Both of them have 1 year left on their rookie contract before becoming restricted free agents. I think they are both around the same tier of player. Taj has shown to have a bigger impact on the game but he as also had the benefit of playing in a much better situation. He would help you with interior defense, pnr defense, weak side shot blocking and rebounding. Maybe its possible he could pass along a few things he learned from Thibs to Bismack and maybe bring a winning attitude. Him and Biyombo could possibly form a nice defensive tandem at times and anchor your defense.

Henderson would be placed in a much better situation for a player of his skillset and hopefully he could learn a few things from Rip about moving off the ball in the midrange area and possibly become the Bulls' future 2-guard.

I'd do it but I expect taj to sign a pretty hefty contract after next season. Not sure why the bulls would though. As of now he is much more highly coveted than Hendo. The last thing the Bulls need is another defensive minded wing player. They need a scoring wing to take some pressure off of Rose.

Taj is one of the most underrated players out there right now. He is a rebounding machine and great defender - I would definitely do that trade as much as I like Hendo.

I think more scouts believe that Beal is the 2nd best available than they think TRob is the 2 best available.

Oh, and for dealing Hendo for Taj Gibson, that'd be a steal.

Bradley Beal has moved up the draft boards of general managers and scouts since the end of the season.

Shortly after Kentucky won the national championship, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was commonly considered the No. 2 overall prospect behind Anthony Davis.

Beal is now ranking No. 2 on approximately 70 percent of the draft boards of GMs and scouts surveyed by ESPN's Chad Ford.

I'm very disappointed for the bobcats that they choose mKg and let Beal for wizards
Another idea of MJ for sure who's just making another wrong choice
IMHO a huge mistake to take MKG when you are a scoringless team
It's was so simple to draft Beal who is compared to Ray ALLan /eric Gordon
MJ prefer to draft MKG who is a very young G Wallace who needs to be develop
