I meant to say Minnesota. Roy and a first for Mullens.

Things will heat up either tonight or tomorrow morning. All the posturing is close to over and it's time for teams to make their final pitch/decisions.

The Josh Smith situation is holding up a few clubs. If Atlanta does trade him (likely), their choice will dictate some other decisions. The Nets are still hoping that their offer of Hump and Brooks is enough to get Smith. The Bucks are supposedly in the lead with their offer. If the deal is made with Milwaukee, the Nets and Cats have some decisions to make.

I really don't want Bargs from Toronto. As has been said before, Mullens is doing most everything Bargs does, and in flashes better. I'd rather find a way to secure him with a reasonable contract than take on Andrea. If we do deal Gordon for Humphries that's OK too.

While it won't happen, I think my favorite deal would be to get Al Jefferson here. If we're gonna pay somebody some bucks I think he'd be worth the investment (not a max deal but some serious cash). Jefferson would solidify our frontcourt, and paired at various times with Biz, or Mullens, or even Humphries if we made that deal happen, we'd have a productive lineup. Combined with our top 3 pick this summer (SG), we could be competitive most nights.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I really want to turn Henderson into an asset along with Sessions. We should be able to stockpile 2 first rounders right there. Whatever we can get for Gordon would be a bonus. I wonder if the Spurs would take him as a secret weapon type player off their bench in the playoffs. He might really shine on a team of savvy vets who know how to play basketball in a system that works. My proposal is Gordon + POR pick for DeJuan Blair and Stephen Jackson's expiring contract. That would give us play money for free agency.
