We would have lost by 25 or 30 without his distributing. 11 assists to only 2 TO also goes along way toward making up for a crappy shooting game.

Entertaining game, finally. Dayman is a breath of fresh air.

**** Dumbfap and his small ball in the 4th, for ****'s sake the only reason we were in the game was b/c our bigs were getting on the offensive boards.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell

Dunlap said Byron Mullens had a knee injury and asked out of the game in 1st quarter.

i am not mad at this game at all. we played hard. our energy was miles better than the previous 3 games. biz and mkg came out and were going after everything. the dayman looked fantastic. kemba did have a solid game outside of not being able to buy a basket. blazers were making everything. some was bad defense, but not all.

That kinda sucks. I was hoping he just got a run in his tights and was too embarrassed to check back in.

My reason exactly for voting for him. I say Kemba did more to keep us from getting legitimately blown out than anyone but MKG tonight. It was indeed hard not giving McBob a hammer, but I gave him an honorable mention.

C'mon man. 15 bricks just fueled the Blazers to go the other way and score. The only way Kemba deserves a hammer in this game is if we actually won despite him shooting us out of the game.

They were for the most part makeable shots, he just was cold. I don't see what the big deal is, I could see him not deserving the Gold or even the Silver but Bronze is on par with what he deserved and how some others played.

kemba was 2-for-17 halfway thru the 4th quarter. he made his last 3 shots in complete garbage time to finish 5-for-20, including one uncontested layup with about 40 seconds left.

But still had time to set a career high in assists. :D

interesting idea/question.

Did one cause the other?

Would he have had so many assists if his shot was falling or would he just keep looking for his shot.

If he still managed to get up 20 attempts on a bad shooting night then it's safe to say that he kept looking for his shot. However I think he would've had a lot more 10+ assist games this season if he didn't have to hand over his PG duties to Sessions as he's forced to convert into off guard throughout the bulk of the 2nd half of most games this season. It seem like Kemba has 4-6 assist at halftime of every game but usually only manage to get 1-2 more assist in the 2nd half. I wonder if there's a way I can find a split on that.

I think he was going to shoot regardless, it was shots he would make at home but just can't seem to get them to fall on the road.
