Tanking is one thing. But Biyombo needs minutes to improve his game. I thought Dunlap was about teaching these kids. I hate Dunlap for benching him when he starts to play well. Dunlap is just an idiot and I have totally lost faith in him.

next game is OKC, maybe we can wait until saturday vs the wizards to demand we dont lose by 20. :D

This rebuild in going to resemble the Washington Wizards youth movement of yesteryears that included John Wall, Andray Blatche, Nick Young, Javale McGee, Jan Vesely, Chris Singleton, Jordan Crawford, and etc...basically what I'm saying is that you can add all of the young talent that you want but if you don't have a coach and system in place it won't amount to much by time wasted and assets to trade for veterans.

I lost all faith in him about a month ago.

Seriously what's the point in epically tanking the second half of a game you're winning against a playoff team when you're already at the bottom?

I don't think this qualifies as tanking. Dunlap is just a bad coach. Giving him the tank excuse is just an excuse for his inability to make this team play up to their full capabilities. I know we're not the most talented group but we're not as bad as these games are being played out.

Where are all of the MKG haters now? Kid has been hitting his mid range shot pretty consistently of late.

By not playing our best players, he is tanking. Clear as day.

Im not totally sure on that one. MKG got good minutes, Walker, Henderson, Sessions, and Gordon got theirs. Mullens didn't get many minutes but his vagina is bleeding and McRoberts did everything well this game but actually score. The only missing link was Biyombo, and I have no earthly idea as to why he didn't play in the second half. Either way even with him we would have still gotten outscored by 25+ in the second half. We are just that bad talent wise, and Dunlap is just a **** coach. Its a shame he doesn't coach as well as he talks or dresses.

In fairness, you named several dumbasses. As long as we stick with hardworking, talented young guns like Kemba and MKG, it should work out differently. But I agree with your general point, that if we continue to hire the likes of Mike Dunlap, it's an issue.

And I am, as a lot of you regularly notice, almost stupidly optimistic about this team at times, and I'm as low on Dunlap as anybody here.

This should've been the answer last summer. I can't fathom why we picked Dunlap over him unless Sloan was the one to turn it down. Dunlap was a college assistant coach. Sloan was the longtime head coach of a very successful team the last 20+ years.

I think Jerry Sloan gracefully bowed out of the head coaching candidacy himself when Cho and Higgins dumbfoundedly gave him the wait and see approach to less experienced coaches like Quin Snyder and Brian Shaw. I can understand how he could consider that as a insult since he's a legendary coach that went out of his way to say that he'd be willing to coach a team that was the year previously the worst team in NBA history. It would not have looked good on Sloan's resume if the Bobcats of all teams didn't want to hire him. I remember him saying something like "I'm not desperate to coach" when he took his name out of the candidacy.

i assume youre talking about me. i actually feel validated. MKG has been capable of playing up to his draft spot all this time yet he spent 2 months averaging 5/4 on 35% and it was all a matter of aggressiveness.

I think it was more a combination of confidence and hitting the rookie wall. He's a humble kid playing in the best league in the world and also happens to be the youngest player in said league. Its fairly understandable why that is overwhelming. Think back to when you were 19. I guarantee you didn't have anywhere near similar kind of pressure.
