Question to Bobcat fans

Post#1 » by BRIGGS » Tue Apr 30, 2013 6:34 am

Would the Bobcats be interested in obtaining pick 24 for a S+T for Gerald Hendersen?

Something like Marcus Camby(the 2nd year of his contract is not guaranteed so essentially its an ending contract) the 24th pick and 3mm $ to pay the contract off--and maybe to use towards buying an additional 2 rounder. for a S+t for Hendersen. I believe you guys were looking for an additional 1st round pick for Hendesen during the season.

Thanks

I think that depends on how we draft. If we draft Mclemore it wouldn't be a bad idea. I think henderson as a player has more value than that, but since he's off his rookie contract so soon I don't think we'd get more.

Don't think its possible because he's a FA who cant sign until July 1. Think there's some rules against that but either way I hope not. We wont be able to find 15ppg from the 24th pick. Henderson is our best player next to Slemba.

Hendo has much more value than the 24th pick in a weak draft. As much as I have touted McLemore all year I have no problem at all if the Cats pick Noel or Bennett and resign Hendo.

Henderson is a starter for ANY team that doesn't have a superstar at the 2. Us trying to trade him for a draft pick was the most idiotic thing I had ever seen.
With his experience, improving-high% jumpshot, and allegiance to this team, I wouldn't trade him for anything other than a young, reliable, athletic player that's good for 15-30 a game - basically Henderson himself

Not possible. We can't sign and trade for a pick like that. Also Hendo for 24 is very bad value for us. Wouldn't trade him for any pick outside of the top 10.

No.
