Well I'm super excited for this season. But I'm always super excited before our seasons start. We'll certainly be more interesting to watch this year than we were in the last few. Will they be worth your time? Well to be frank, we don't have a young budding superstar and if we somehow make the playoffs this season, we're likely to get crushed in the first round.

However, we're loaded with young talent and high character, hard working players who could scrap to 30+ wins in a season where a lot of teams will be tanking for the heralded 2014 draft. I think it will be fun to watch these guys develop and play their hearts out and seeing how our 2014 offseason plays out, where we could have 3 first-round draft picks and a decent amount of capspace.

Fluffer...great to see you are back. I dig it regarding the lack of time. Hard to justify on many levels.

I have stuck with my team over many poor seasons and decisions, but have not viewed with great regularity. I swore that I would not take the ticket unless they got a legit PF, and they didn't, so I didn't. Still caught games here and there. The best way to manage time is by recording, then zipping through the commercials and half time.

This edition? I am very interested to see how this squad plays out. Dittos to many other comments previous. The Horncats are getting my full investment.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Obviously there is much more to this than that, the felton wars were a dark time in Bobcats Realgm history

Just wait till the Hornets fans come out of their decade long coma to hop on the wagon once were finally good. Now that will annoy me.

May as well welcome then. Would be nice to have a home court advantage for once.

i remember the felton wars. i don't miss them. but fans' obsession with backup point guards remains. just one of those weird things.

Both your description, as the guy on our team who'll stand up to anybody, as well as what you think of as typically dirty, but also one who can do something "Nasty"as in an athletic feat that makes you stand up and go Wow. I thought "Dirty" did a good job of encompassing all of the above.

Gerald Henderson is our Shaft. Yeah.

When you combine the Jefferson acquisition, better coaching staff and a weaker Eastern Conference, the Bobcats could be more interesting. Ultimately though, I still think this will be another losing season, but more watchable than past years...29-53, which could still make them a factor in the Wiggins/Parker sweepstakes.

Not interesting. Put back into the oven for at least another year, maybe more if we overachieve our way out of franchise talent in the 2014 draft.

Lots of easy to root for guys though.

:eek1: :droop: :eek2:  :crowded: :eyebrows: I suspect after camp starting lineup will be :.
KW
Hendo
MKG
MCBOB
Big Al

Zellar may work his way into starting lineup before Christmas at the 4 spot.
Gordon is in a contract year. If he guns and makes um we trade him. If not Taylor gets more minutes at 2.
Sessions """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Pargo """""""""""""""""""""""""" at 1.
Southerland could get allot of minutes if he shows good offensive skills in camp and MKG is not scoring?
Byumbo will need to backup Al 15-20 minutes (both offensively and defensively) a night or the Bismack will finally sink and Haywood will get his minutes.
Toliver,Adrien, and ? won't get minutes unless there are injurues.
36-46 13th in East...2014 draft pick 8th.

You feel the Eastern conference got weaker? id say it just got stronger alot of teams in the East got better including your team.

Cavs- added- Bynum/Jack/Clark + #1 draft pick & i believe Varejo is returning

Charlotte- added Jefferson/Tolliver/Sessions + #4 pick in zeller who looked good in summer league.
Im intrigued to see Kemba & Jefferson on the court.

Pistons- added Jennings, smith, Billups + a couple interesting draft pieces

Raptors- added Hansbrough, DJ augustin, Novak

a couple teams improved, maybe not drastically but its definitely better than last year thats for sure.

Milwaukee, Boston, and Philly are out of the playoff picture now, Orlando still is. I think Detroit, Atlanta, Toronto, Cleveland, Washington, and Charlotte are all on similar levels and will all be fighting for the last three playoff spots after Miami, Brooklyn, Indiana, Chicago, New York. There are only 5 playoff-caliber teams in the east. None of the other eastern teams would even be a top 10 team in the West. The east is incredibly weak in that sense.

Cleveland looks like a playoff team on paper. I don't buy the Pistons or Raptors as locks. The East is top heavy with the Heat, Bulls, Pacers and Nets. I don't view the Knicks in that same tier, but they're a playoff lock. After that there's 3 spots open for anyone. It's not like past years where you could predict 1-8 pretty well before the season started.
