Wasn't a whole lot of "getting players to their hot spots." Obviously this is only one game on limited practice and I have full confidence we'll be much more efficient than what happened in this game.

I noticed this too. Something I was thinking about is that we have Jefferson, Zeller, and MKG, that's 3 players who will go get the rebound. Now, what I look for this season is the fact that we have 4 good athletes in the starting 5, Kemba with his speed, Henderson with his explosive leaping ability, MKG can run and jump and Zeller is a big with good speed and hops, I want to see this team run on the breaks and I wanna see Kemba run with his team and not do what DJ used to do which was attempt to be a one man fast break.

Our offense has to have more player and ball movement, send Henderson off screens to catch and shoot, post up MKG or have him cutting to the rim, feed AJ inside, pick and roll or pop with Zeller. I didn't see much of anything last night besides one on one play after the initial pick for Kemba. It was like a streetbal game. I might be a homer, but I think this team has the personell to be at least a top 10 team in the east.

Didn't see a problem with Hendo. If that 1 three pointer had gone all the way in instead of 95% of the way in everyone would have been satisfied with his performance

We need a "WARNING: STOP FREAKING OUT ABOUT A DAMN PRESEASON GAME" post at the top of each page in the game threads. For real.

He was born with almost supernatural athleticism but what he might be forgetting is that his coordination and skill set were also gifts that came along with the package. I suspect he believes he can build a winning team with raw athletes that he can teach skill to with the help of Mark Price, Patrick Ewing, etc. Jordan doesn't realize you can't teach the skills he had. Practice and hard work only help you maximize your skill potential that you're born with. These guys just don't have high skill potential to begin with - athleticism yes, skill no. It looks like a mess.

So we are back to blaming mj? Why is it that when something good happens cho gets the credit but when things don't look right its always mj's fault? When are some of you going to start holding Higgins and especially cho accountable? They have both said they have mj's blessing to run the show.
The curse of Higgins!

Lol. It is kinda funny to see Jordan getting some blame.

I understand where all the frustration comes from but I think we're all forgetting that this team is 100% different than it was last year and these guys are gonna need time to figure out whats going to work on this team. Not to mention having to scout the other team each week and change strategies accordingly. Stop being so critical of the first preseason game of the year.

He has little flaws in his game and what little weaknesses he has are things that can easily be worked on unlike Henderson or MKG's. Taylor is aggressive and isn't afraid to take the shot, and he can stroke it from deep and drive to the rim. What more do you need?

IMO what Taylor is missing is not going to be evaluated in the preseason and that is game to game, season-long consistency. it's possible Taylor's streakiness is another thing to chalk up to Dunlap but there were stretches last season when he disappeared. one of the forgotten traits of a quality starter is being dependable for a certain level of production consistent with position. i think that's the next step for Taylor before Henderson should start sitting.

Are you kidding, Henderson is the king lynchpin of disappearing and streakiness. What do we have to lose. If Herrderrson still can't hit the 3 consistently and puts up several 3 for 7 for 7 points games by the start of the season, I don't want to see him get many minutes at all, nevertheless starting

Friday night needs to hurry and get here vs the Heat. Isn't televised, but I'm intrigued to see how our starters do vs them.

is Herrderrson going to be a thing? maybe I should set my computer on fire. anyways I just mean that's what Taylor's going to have to do to unseat Henderson. by all accounts he's the starter right now but I imagine everybody's got a clean slate with Clifford so the cream will rise to the top before too long.
