I think in the starting lineup we are better than them at every position except SF and we are a lot deeper imo. Obviously they have Melo as a superstar but does he really make up for that much? Dude needs some help over there. I feel like its not even that homerish. Felton/Bargnani/Chandler/Shumpert are not exactly high quality starters. JR Smith is nice but he is their entire bench. Amare/Metta I guess could be good but I don't see what makes them better than Taylor/Zeller
Having Melo as a superstar makes a big difference, but other than that, they have experience. The way how Biyombo has been rebounding of late he could very well be on a parallel level to Chandler, emphasis on 'could'. I believe the Knicks will have a down year this year where they'll finish between 6th-8th seed in the East which will make it easier for Melo to exit into free-agency during the offseason
