robot rock, i appreciate you coming here and having a level head about people disagreeing with you. keep in mind that discussions about draft picks after the fact evolve in very specific ways on message boards. i suggest you take that into account when you get critical about charlotte's draftees. i think you'll find this board is pretty receptive to a wide variety of opinions if you approach the conversation in the right way. i have confidence that you'll figure it out, you seem like a perceptive person.

personally i find it unproductive to argue whether that a draft pick has been "worth it," because the price has already been paid, and now all that's left is the player's development. each player is different. i get that it is totally relevant when discussing a front office's decisions and organizational trends. but, this is why i keep out of discussions of whether biyombo was worth drafting at #7 2 years ago, to give one example. if he develops into a dependable defensive reserve big, then i guess the bobcats will have gotten crappy value for a draft pick in 2011, but they'll still have a dependable defensive reserve big, which is definitely a useful commodity in today's NBA.

anyways, thanks for contributing. it's good to see a new face on this board.

I couldn't agree more vorbis.

Furthermore, it's not the kids fault for where he is drafted. He doesn't really control that.

Much appreciated. I'm glad to be here. I'm really excited about this team's prospects over the next couple years, provided they draft well and are able to retain key players.
