Giannis Antetokounmpo & Dennis Schröder are the easy choices, but Sergey Karasev on the Cavs could be the "random" one that may come out of nowhere to the casual NBA fan

I actually am not that big of a fan of that Karasev pick. Time will tell, maybe I'm wrong.

Vitor Faverani could have a sneaky good stretch when (if) the Celtics bigs have injury problems.

I think Karasev could average 12-15 points as rookie & would be a better fit alongside Kyrie in the starting lineup instead of Waiters for the Cavs if they decided to go that route as they should

If anything it would more of an issue when he is playing because it impacts your energy levels.

i have lived with several people who had it as well and needed that machine. that would explain what i thought was the biggest question with his game, his consistent effort, particularly in doing the less glamorous things on the court like get back on D, close out on shooters, hustle for loose balls. still, if i were a cleveland fan, even though none of the regular season has happened yet, i'd feel very wary of him due to how brutal he looked in the preseason game i watched, and these health issues which seem particularly worrisome for a basketball player.

so no Alex Len fans on this board, huh?

I thought that he's still two months away from returning, but just saw him on a DMC highlight reel and realized that he's been playing this whole time. I'd definitely add him to the international ROY candidate conversation.

Not to mention the asthma too. Apnea is bad enough but with some nasty asthma thrown on top (and not the best conditioning to start with) and.....

I've seen Len play and he's looked OK. He reminds me of how Valancunias looked as a rookie. The media isn't hyping him so that'll be good that he'll get to improve under the radar without much scrutiny. The kicker for Len is preventing that stress fracture in his foot from flaring up.

Oladipo is going to be the ROY. He is such a playmaker that it baffles me that his ballhandling skills and court vision was so heavily questioned going into the draft. He's not surprising me much though.

MCW is the easiest pick right now. Everyone seems to be enamored with him, but I think that will change when the Sixers are 20 games below .500
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Steven Adams looks way farther along than even I thought he'd be. Another good player on team "guys BroD wishes was a Bobcat."

I was an Alex Len advocate, till Zeller came along. Adams is as good as i thought he would be. I wonder who will be the first player to emerge as the "sleeper" 2nd round pick

He has been rather impressive.

Nate Wolters has been getting some buzz, and rightfully so.

I waffled a lot between whom I preferred between those two (Len and Zeller) but I slightly preferred Zeller because he actually put up decent numbers. The way Len moves just strikes me as unnatural and prone to injury so when the stress fractures already arose I was done with him. He might pan out and prove me wrong like Hibbert and Brook Lopez did but at the time of the draft I thought he was wildly overrated. And Bonnell really liked him so that was enough to discount him.

I'm definitely happier with Zeller over Len so far.
