I wouldn't be so sure. Casey has been to the NBA finals and designed Dallas's defense when they won the title. It won't be an easy series like some of you think but if we do meet it'll be a good one.

I'm surely biased. I can't forget his "don't foul with 25 seconds left" strategy. I'm sure he does some good stuff too

LOL yeah. Casey has come a long way since then. Our assistants are much better now as well. It should be a good series if we meet, best of luck to you guys.

2. we know the raptors are a different team from the beginning of the season. at least 20 different raptors fans have come here to tell us that in the last month. at the same time, it should not be understated that the bobcats have the 4th best record in in the east since mid january. both teams are clearly better now than they were in nov-dec. I think the cats are 17-8 since the all-star break.

3. we match up better with the raptors than we do with the bulls. bulls play just like us, but they are better at it, have been doing it for longer and have more playoff experience. the raptors strengths on the other hand - perimeter offense - fits well with our defense strengths.

4. neither the raptors or the bobccats have much playoff experience so that really isnt a factor in this series. (same goes for the wizards)

5. both clifford and casey have experience in the finals as assistant coaches.

6. we fully expect teams to aggressively double jefferson. we have been seeing a lot more of that lately, especially doubles and fronts prior to him catching the ball. our shooters have to step up to make our offense work. jefferson has to make quicker decisions - either shoot or pass, dont hold it too long.

7. we will not double-team perimeter players. if we play the raptors, we will not double derozen. mkg, hendo and cdr will play him straight up. all 3 are very capable man vs man defenders.

8. mkg won't play in the 4th and will probably only play 20 minutes a game, so gameplanning around leaving him open doesnt really account for most of the game. teams have done this all season, so its nothing new.

9. as other mentioned the biggest matchup problem for us vs the raptors will be at pg. kemba has trouble defending stronger bigger guards and we have absolutely no depth at pg, whereas the raptors probably have the best backup pg in the league right now. thats a huge advantage for the raptors.

Yeah you pretty much nailed it. It's why I would rather have the Wiz then you guys. We just match up better with them. At this point the east is going to be a bloodbath for seeding this final few games so who knows who ends up facing who. I think you guys would do well against the Bulls. It would be good practice for the future.
