Hornets trade Brendan Haywood and '15 1st round pick to Kings for Isaiah Thomas and Travis Outlaw

Hornets trade Ramon Sessions to Pistons for Jonas Jerbko and '14 1st round pick (We will probably get that pick anyway in real life so why not do this deal lol)

Releases: Hornets waive Jonas Jerebko and Travis Outlaw

Signings: Hornets sign Samardo Samuels to 1yr/$893k deal

I'm a die-hard association guy and about 3/4 of the way through a 58-game season one.

Despite my best intentions, I always get a bit trade happy after about a virtual month of play. Was able to flip a '15 first and Ramon Sessions for Philly's '14 first and MCW. Never happen in real life, but still made me happy. MCW requires less minutes than Sessions and has great potential, so more floor time for Kemba while I groom him. Unfortunately, the sixers are currently far from the worst team in the league, hovering around 10th in the draft. Not great, but still a fairly good haul for Sessions' expiring with the hope that season 2 improvements put the Bobnets out of the lottery.

So, currently the Bobs are 18-28 which would land them at about 6th in the draft - not a fantastic place to be, but may be fairly realistic. Currently eyeing any of the big 5 who may drop, plus either WCS or Embild or Selden. Al is the leading scorer and rebounder and got his first All Star nod, Kemba leads in assists and steals, and MKG is a beast going to the hoop. Zeller in a close race with Trey Burke for ROY. Surprisingly Hendo is hitting about 39% of his threes.
