I think this pick comes down to Stauskas vs. Harris which is why Clifford keeps pushing size size size. When Cho was praising the mid-range game and how it's unappreciated, I think he was alluding to McDermott, not Harris.
I would rather go empty at SG than empty at PF which is what we are doing now, unless you think Zeller can start next year and play 30 minutes. McBob is going to get overpaid.
I think they like Zeller and McRoberts.
Cho drafted Zeller #4 overall just 1 year ago and Zeller's production jumped post-all star. Clifford gave him legit minutes. Cho has said they intend to try to keep McRoberts and he's a big part of the team.
So yeah, if they're shopping Henderson then they are looking to upgrade SG. I think it hints to them leaning towards at SG at 9 because free agency offers no guarantee of a player at all, let alone an upgrade to Henderson.
