Nah there was a stretch there in the 1st half where everytime he touched the ball something crappy happened. Fumbled rebounds, dumb passes, bricks, turnovers. Got rejected causing Nenes nice transition dunk. He pretty much did absolutely nothing right in the 1st half. I saw on the 1st page where you said you didn't see the game but the stats don't show how bad he was, especially in the 1st half. in the 2nd half he at least hit a couple shots

Yeah Marvin and Neal were the weak links in the first half. MKG and Al kept us in the game and our bench blew them out of the water in the 2nd. Marvin played a lot better in the 2nd half though.

I'm mad I missed the chance to watch this game live on TV. I didn't expect Kemba to play, but that shows how much of a iron man he is and how much he care about Charlotte basketball winning that he rushed back from a minor injury for a preseason game

It's a good win because they're staying afloat and not falling into a losing trend

same here. I wanted to come home drunk and join the live GT which is always fun. only I went straight to the bed.

to those who watched the game - was MKG really that good? I could watch the game and splice something up since I have to find a reason not to do my school debts.

First game I've been able to catch as I've been traveling, and I was impressed by MKG. He had a great sequence with a block on one end and dunk on Gortat on the other: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-bas ... rtats-face

He just seems to be in a higher gear than everyone else on the floor, while much more in control than in years' past. He looked confident at the stripe and landed a really smooth looking jumper at one point.

Yep, that was a really sick sequence for him. I didn't catch this in real-time, but in that highlight video you can see Kemba throws the pass way behind and to the right but MKG one-hands it so smoothly it wasn't even noticeable in real speed.

It's all about confidence for him. He's got a little bounce in his step and the deer-in-headlights look is gone on offense. Since he's spending less time hiding in the corner so teammates won't pass him the ball (or maybe because coaches instructed him to go where he can't cause harm) he's spending more time crashing the offensive boards and being generally useful.

I also like the fact that his improved jumper hasn't tempted him to start chucking. Even last night when he had a nice 1st quarter it didn't take him out of his game. He's taking the shot when it's there, probing the defense, and playing his role. That's a nice balance, because even though I want MKG to improve on offense I do not want him taking 15 shots a game.

Dude. It's preseason. You don't "stay afloat" during preseason.

Preseason, regular season, or no season...in life in general, psychologically it is always good to know that you're winning more than you're losing. Your reply was more overblown than my post taken out of context
