I would like Tyler to get the opportunity with us, that we thought would happen a few seasons ago.

We need a third big and he could spend time in the D if he doesn't get any burn (which he probably wouldn't)

I think our big man rotation is pretty well set with Zeller being backup PF and third center.

Please tell me the Kings didn't waive Tyler to make room for Sim Bhullar. Silver needs to just remove ownership from the Kings permanently.

I was looking over the list of free agents next year and noticed that there are going to be a lot of good centers on the market. If you couple that with the huge crop of bigs in the draft next year it should be a good year for teams to negotiate friendly deals. So if we want to keep Bismack beyond this coming season we should be able to sign him to a team friendly deal. If he doesn't want to play ball there are a lot of good options out there for us to pursue.

Point guards on the otherhand are slim pickings, not that it matters though because Kemba isn't going anywhere. That said it makes it all the more important that we go ahead and extend him before the restricted free agency period hits. We should wait to resign Biyombo, Kemba should get resigned ASAP.

I think both should be extended- though if Biz and Kemba's agents are smart, they'll advise them to hold off till next summer when they hit the open market after breakout seasons.

I'd go ahead and re-sign Kemba to 5/50 and Biz to 5/25 right now and never look back if I were the front office. Kemba's contract would be somewhere between Jeff Teague and Jrue Holiday status (pretty fair), while Biz would be on a long, team-friendly deal that would be slightly large for a backup, but very nice for a starter. I hate to say it, but unless we're ready to overpay Big Al next summer, Biz might be our starting C in 2015-16.

With salary caps about to rise 16 million or more I highly doubt any half decent player is going to sign a long term deal next season when they can potentially get a lot more money the season after. If anything they will sign a Stephenson type deal.

The Kings announced Saturday that forward-center Jeremy Tyler had been waived in a move that frees up more space under the salary cap.

Tyler’s contract for next season would have become guaranteed later this month.

Who are we going to bring into training camp besides that Lauderdale PF guy who used to play at Ohio State?

i wonder how adding mills would have changed the entire landscape of our summer? he wouldnt have simply signed for the money and role that we gave to brian roberts. would it have prevented us from eventually going after lance? would we have settled on a cheaper alternative at power forward instead of marvin? would we have shopped gary neal or even kemba?

Highly doubt we'd shop Kemba after signing someone of Mills' caliber. Probably means no Marvin, Mills was probably on the radar but I doubt he was up as high as Lance, McBob, Hayward, and probably Parsons.

Mills would have made Neal redundant, but that's the only affect I would see him having on this roster.

He's a chucking spark plug off the bench.

I really hope we go after Adrien or Quincy Miller. We don't need Taylor because we don't even need Hendo. Our wing position is crowded. Even Messy Marv is really a wing as a SF masquerading as a PF.
