I get that the fact that they were on a back to back after playing a double OT game but I still liked a lot of what I saw in this games. Our offense for the first 3 quarters looked a lot more like what we've all been wanting to see. Our defense was much better for the first 3 quarters and even Al was working harder than we've seen so far this season. The difference in our energy level after having 3 days of rest was almost unbelievable. I think we have gotten too used to seeing our guys playing flat out exhausted due to this ridiculous schedule. The Hawks game was our 5th game in 7 days and we looked like we just simply had nothing to give. We have been in situations like this in way too many of our games thus far and against the best of the best competition. We just looked soooo much more spry against Chicago and we looked like a team capable of winning games even against the elite. When you consider that arguably our best and most important player didn't even play in this game and our best shooter and best bench player was also out it seems like we might not really be as bad as it has seemed. Kemba and Lacne are not going to continue to shoot this bad and Al might still get into good shape and play a little D. I honestly feel better than I have about our team in a while after this game. Here is to hoping that we don't make a stupid panic trade before we even have a good idea what we are currently capable of. I thought Cliffords rotations for this game were the best I've seen even though it got a little suspect in the fourth.
