I think Roberts will start over MoWill for at least 2-3 games off the bat. It would shock me if MoWill started his first game with Charlotte.

Same, has nothing to do with production. Honestly I'm surprised anyone would think otherwise.

The only reason I think there is a chance Mo could start over Roberts from the the get-go is that we have this big break for all-star weekend so we might be able to familiarize him with the system enough to where a few games to feel things out might not be necessary. I still think he'll probably come off the bench for a couple games but I wouldn't be surprised if he was the starter in his first game.

Troy Daniels seems like a very interesting wildcard addition to this deal. Given how starved we are for shooting, I don't think it is out of the question he could earn a full-time backup spot. Mo, Daniels, Lance, Marvin, Biz has some potential. Biz can make such a big defensive impact against second units that we could probably get away with a Mo/Troy backcourt. Daniels might just be the best shooter on our roster and he is obviously not afraid to let em fly (12.5 per game in d-league).

This trade keeps seeming better and better the more I think about it. Mo still has some serious game.

I think this was a great deal by us, we gave up virtually nothing and solved two of our biggest problems..... PG and shooting.

Gary Neal has been awful from behind the arc and with Mo and Troy we get two guys who aren't afraid to get up 3-5 three point attempts a night and both keep the defense spaced and honest. The Second round pick to us was basically worthless, its 4 years down the line and we have not done anything great with second round picks in the past.

After this trade we have a good amount of guys I feel comfortable shooting the three ball....

And only Kemba, PJ, Mo, and Daniels are the only players who should actively look for their shots from deep. Especially Mo. The guys we just brought in are likely our top 2 three-point shooters. All of our "3-point shooters" (Kemba, Brian, Marvin, PJ, Hendo, Neal) shot 33% or less from deep so far this year. Lance is at 15%. We're dead last in 3P% at .308. Mo is going to have a bigger impact than we realize.

Neal for Mo is a damn steal. If there's one thing you can say about Cho, he knows how to work the trade market. It's going to be nice not having to worry about Neal coming off the bench chucking up shots (and missing them) like he's a 6th man of the year candidate.

Grabbing Mo was an especially nice get considering the fact that multiple other teams could use PG depth this season.

It's still sinking in that Neal won't be around for minutes, and it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility that Lance gets benched. Gonna be a lot of PT available and a scoring void with the second unit.
