If the Wolves end up dropping in the lottery and miss out on Towns/Okafor do any of you think they'd be interested in trading back with us if we sent them Al for Pekovic? Obviously we'd be targeting Russell in this scenario.

I would rather have Al, Pekovic's contract is horrible.

It's about having Russell over Al and Pekovic.

I know, but Pekovics deal is until 2018 at 12 million per year and he misses half the season most years. need more than just a pick swap to take on that mess.

You're right but I'm desperate enough and very high on Russell's chances of being a star. Pek's contract won't be so bad once the cap start skyrocketing.

Pekovic is out 6 months with an achilles issue. Plays 47 games a year. Bad defender. Makes over 12 a year. And some of you want to trade for him? Lol. I'd rather extend Al freaking Jefferson.

Al>Pek but that's not what the trade is about. I see it as trading Al for the next James Harden. I woulda thought some of you longtime Bobcat fans would be as desperate to take a shot at a potential star as I am if not more.

It's unlikely to happen anyway. Just a pipe dream.

Oh I'm more than willing to take a shot. But Peks contract till 2018 and he's going on 30. That's more than a shot. That's almost madness. Cap going up or not. has to be some other way to move up.

Eh if we listened to most of us the year Pek was a free agent we woulda been the team signing him to that madness.

Not me. I'm not a fan of his at all. For someone that's built like a damn tank he gets hurt like he's a 50 year old man. I want Russell badly, but not for him.

I might do it if its just Al for Pek + 3rd pick.

play Pek like 20mpg and hope he doesn't get hurt. could probably lose about 30 pounds to help he is bigger than Al.

dream scenario

Russell-Hezonja-MKG-Vonleh-Biz :-o

If they throw in Payne I'd do it.

Pay someone 12 mill to play 20 minutes? He'll get hurt regardless. I'd never trade for that man. He's a terrible rim protector, terrible defensively and just above average offensively. He's way worse than Al overall, and he'll only get worse. 12 million is still a lot of money even with the cap rising. Especially for a bum like Pekovic

I wouldn't touch Pek's contract unless we got Minnesota's lottery pick as compensation. Pekovic is a poor man's Al in all facets even when healthy, and he's never healthy.
investigate Adam Silver
