We should trade back then because the only way were realistically trading up is to offer a future 1st. I don't like Oubre or Johnson for us and if we pick WCS we'll let Biz go which will just set us back.

Trading is fine but trading just to trade is dumb. There has to be a plan and the value has to be there. Moving up 2 spots to get a guy who has a ton of questions at the price of a future first is not worth it. Moving back just to move is not worth it. Take Johnson if he is the best guy on the board and there are no good offers left or if someone badly wants up and offers good pieces then drop back and re-evaluate.

Johnson duplicates what MKG gives us too much for them to start together, the value is not there for us with him. The same is true of WCS and Biyombo, it's one or the other. Oubre is the only one of the 3 who makes any sense on our current roster.

Johnson could easily play with MKG. He is much further along offensively at this point and has a nice shot. Good form but with a slightly low release point. He could easily fit and Oubre could as well. It would not kill us to have a second good wing defender as long as they have more offense like Johnson does.

I'm so used to seeing threads like these get quickly compiled into our Dewey Decimal system of organizing topics, so when I saw "Kings and Hornets" out there on the main page and opened it up and read "Kings trade Stauskas," I thought this was a real trade and my heart skipped several beats.

I was sure that god would have to wait at least until the lottery to taunt me again.
