There's virtually a zero percent chance we can get Cousins without gutting our roster and getting rid of future assets.

Cousins is one of the most valuable players in the league. The Kings would be looking for the absolute jackpot...Just one pick wouldn't cut it.

Yes, this.

To grab Boogie, we'd have to give up way more than the third pick. Like you said, it'd take at least MKG, PLUS probably Vonleh (higher upside than Zeller), PLUS probably one, probably at least two protected firsts.

Acquiring Cousins via trade for us simply costs too much. We'd be better off taking a chance on the third pick with Russell and hoping for the best out out of him.

since this is now at 2k posts, going to start individual threads tomorrow/later today.

They are.Nurkic even said on his twitter early in the season, that Mario is now better than last 2 #1 overall picks :D This not coming for combine might hurt his stock but i don't think that's necessary bad for you.

Considering that Nuggets drafted SG last year, have starting SF in Gallinari, and their starting PG is on the exit door, i wouldn't be surprised if they deal Lawson on draft day for established veteran player and pick or use him to move up and draft one of the PGs.

That's the easy explanation but I'm not sure I buy it. He took the same number that he did the year before - 7.7 3PTA last year vs. 7.5 this year, yet his percentage dropped 10%. I can't act like I'm at all familiar with GSU but a 10% drop year to year with the same number of attempts seems really odd to me.

I did just learn that Ryan Harrow (the guy who played at State his freshman year, then transferred to UK, then transferred again) played two years at GSU with Hunter. Didn't realize that.

So did Kevin Ware.

So you're telling me my dream of having Mario Hezonja and Luigi Datome on our team is still alive? Bring on the Nintendo sponsorship!

For what it's worth I predict that the Hornets move up to get the #3 pick this year. ;)

IDK why I feel that way, but I do.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Towns also skipping combine completely

Unintended consequence of changes to the combine.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

If you're slated as a top 3 pick there is no reason to do it. Especially Towns who is going #1.

Kinda ****, but they're probably just taking the advice of their agents.

I can't wait to see the 5 on 5 games though. Those are going to be super competitive.

Towns has been measured at the Kentucky combine so we have his officials. The lack of measurements for me would drop a guy if two were real close. It makes me think they are scared of something.

They have no incentive to do the combine. There's only down side.

I wonder why DraftExpress no longer have player comparisons for the draftees.

Even for middling guys. Dion Waiters didn't do jack pre-draft - GMs started to fall in love with what was in the mystery box.
