Except Fredette can't play ball. Probably plays Foosball better than he plays basketball.

Jimmer can play. He just has to find his niche as a scoring backup guard on a team where the fans will love him. Sacramento and Chicago weren't ideal places for him.

Side note, who is Utah's best player?

Derrick Favors. And yes I would trade MKG for Hayward and Favors. It would be tough letting MKG go but come on.

I would also, Favors + Hayward for MKG? that is a hell of a deal

Think about the cap space you give up in a deal like that. I like Favors' fit, but when you think about the fact each of Favors and Hayward are probably getting ridiculous 8-figure contracts, something about having an elite wing defender on a rookie contract and having 15-18M in cap space looks good. I want to stay away from Hayward at all costs.

Favors, Hayward, along with Jefferson. Hell while were at it lets try to get Millsap from the Hawks and reincarnate the 2012-2013 Utah Jazz.

You mean that perennial 8th-9th seed team?

Thats basically what we'd be.

...in the West. In the East that's probably good enough for perennial 4th seed. Plus, Clifford>Corbin.

True. Not to mention that our PG play is significantly better than what Utahs was.

But its still not good enough to contend for a title, we need to be top 3 seed in the West good, not top 3 in the East good

I'd happily take Favors. He may be a little expensive but he's a great fit for Big Al- one of the best fits outside of Ibaka, Gibson, and a handful of others.

But Utah isn't trading Favors. If anyone, it's going to be Kanter, who I want no part of. I don't want Hayward at his price either.

I'm as 'contend or bust!' as the next guy but top 3 in the East is good enough for me, that's good enough for stars to align and get lucky if you can keep getting your ticket punched.

Lance Stephenson it is.

Lance Stephenson
Gerald Henderson
MKG
Gary Neal
PJ Hairston
Jeffery Taylor

Plus Marvin Williams that can fill in at SF, and CDR that most of us hope to resign. A little too much depth at the wing spots - will be very interesting to see what kind of moves we make to close out this offseason.

Well gee Mr. Bird, I think we have one or three that could help you out with that problem.

Unfortunately you seem to have a pretty junk roster.

They should've inquired with us about a sign-and-trade where they took back Gerald Henderson as aforementioned by many on our board

Yup - curious whether or not they did. I can see the logic in just pulling the trigger and ending the whole thing rather than dealing with Indiana and keeping Lance's option open to go elsewhere, but would hope we explored that possibility on our side.

Hill is supposed to be a 2-guard.

Lance was probably their best playmaker. Paul George will probably run a point-forward-ish role for them and commit about 4.5 TO/game next season

They need a Hill/Calderon swap in the worst way possible Incidentally that's the first time anyone's been that desperate for a player that bad on defense.

Look like Lamb is the better scorer of the 3. Batum def the better passer. And PJ is the most ehhhh unconscious. Lol
