Here is a good article for those hating on Kaminsky. The dude outperformed Okafor and Towns head to head, can lead a fast break, is one of the best shooters in the draft at 7'1, and most importantly can space the floor for Big Al and our athletic wings.

I'm not sure I believe all the rumors however. I think Cho has a plan. Basically, we really do like Frank the Tank but we are also baiting other teams into taking him before us. If he's taken in the top 8, one of the original people who we wouldn't expect to fall to us, will. At that point we take the best player available.

If he's there at #9 and the rumors are true, we take him. He's not a project and is ready to come in and help now, something we need dearly. On the other hand, if the Suns or Celtics want to give up 13 or 16 plus whatever else, we're in good position to still get WCS, Oubre, RJ Hunter, Payne, or someone solid while picking up another asset in the process.

I'm more excited about the draft than I have been in a long time. We want to win now and with a volatile top 10, expect a LOT of action/movement tonight.

EDIT: Heard on ESPN radio we sorely missed the role Josh McRoberts played and apparently believe Frank can step in play a similar role. That makes sense.

If the stories of MJ falling in love with Kaminsky are true, he would want us trading up to get him, even as high as the Knick's 4th pick. But, supposedly, Phil LOVES the big guy too. No way they help us climb there and take their target.

Final DX mock has us taking Frank, passing on Booker, WCS, Turner, Payne and Oubre.

I have been wondering too if we are trying to bait someone into trading up ahead of us with the Frank talk, causing one of the higher rated prospects to fall to us.

I was so knocked off balance by us sending Vonleh away that I'm just now trying to generate some enthusiasm for the draft.
