Kemba + Lamb + 9 to the Knicks wouldn't be that bad

Lamb has skills. His 3 point shot is better than his percentages would tell you. He jacked up a bunch of garbage time 3's in OKC, and those probably hurt his percentage. He's a really good rebounder for a SG. He shoots well off of curls. He's got some skills as a passer.

He didn't get playing time in OKC more than likely because of his defense and because he doesn't "look" like he's trying that hard. He looks high all the time. But I think that's just his demeanor. But Brooks favors guys who look like they're going 100% all the time, so I think that and Lamb's lackluster defense kept him from ever getting a true shot. He tries on defense, he just gets beat off of screens because of a lack of strength.

I, along with a lot of Thunder fans, felt like he should have been given more opportunity. He flashed skills. He was crucial in a victory over the Lakers this year and over the Heat last year. I wish Brooks gave him a chance to stick in the rotation. I think he can be a team's solid backup SG. He's not the most consistent guy, but he's better than you'd think given his playing time.

The above is also why I feel like he's worth much more than just a salary dump or even a worthless 2nd rounder. But I understand perception is a big part of the reality in trading players.

Kevin Gates fan or Godfather fan? either way plus 1 from me
thanks man. Huge Godfather fan. :)

It couldn't be Lamb.

I wonder what OKC would have said a few seasons ago if we offered them Ridnour and a conditional second?

So in hindsight now what did the Thunder end up with for the Harden trade? Has to be like, nothing now right?

Why does the NBATV Ticker say that the deal is:

Ridnour
for
Lamb and a second round pick

Are THEY sending US the pick??
