Er, Lin was mentioned favorably by Kemba a lot in his post-game interview. Lin and Kemba look like they get along great to me.

I hope attendence improves as the season progresses and people realize that we are actually good and entertaining. I want to see the hive really alive.

Idk what the attendance numbers were for last night, but I was there and that was one of the loudest I have heard that arena before. I get your point though, I hope we can keep scoring and winning at home def much different then the last few years.

Charlotte is a transplant football town now. People will come if we win. Maybe

I have a question for Hornets fans and those familiar with seating for Time Warner Arena. I'm looking to get tickets for the Raptors game in December and I'm deciding between (1) seats that are more central (i.e., Section 104) but a little towards the back or (2) seats that are by the home tunnel, diagonal to the view of field, but closer to the bottom.

Any advice on what would be preferable? The central seats are a little cheaper with the better overall view. The tunnel seats are a bit closer to the home bench.

Thanks, this will be my first time to Time Warner -- I'm a Lakers fan in DC so I'm more familiar with Staples/Forum and the Verizon Center.

One problem with having seats near the tunnel is that there is a constant parade of people going from the stands, down to the tunnel and visa versa, since they have the club seat bar down there. It can be a bit distracting. But its a neat place to people watch.

The Panthers winning it all would help if the Hornets are still winning in Februrary. People still be looking for that adrenaline

Hornets attendance is actually down over 6% from last year. We got a bit of a boost from the Hornets unveil, but I'm still surprised that our attendance numbers aren't higher.

I think if we stay competitive those numbers will pop up.

Last night was the first time we have seen the Frank/Cody combo. In 21 minutes they had an Ortg of 123.5 and a Drtg of 74.1.

Is there a way to see the ratings for when Cody plays center? He's played at center some with Marvin at PF, but there's also a lot of minutes where Cody was the 4 and Marvin in the 3 and that is not a great lineup.

Dont get me wrong, the crowd was great last night, but I want to see what its like when there is a packed house that is that into it.

Roy Tarpley wrote:My thoughts:

- First half was fast-paced, not much defense. Lin played like he just woke up from a coma.
- The third quarter was perhaps our worst quarter of the year. The Kings got hot, and for some reason, Clifford wasn't calling timeouts, like he wanted the team to play through this difficult period.
- Kemba put the team on his back and led the comeback, with some good defense/tenacity from Zeller/Kaminsky. Kaminsky, by the way, looked confident out there and I hope this leads to less time for Hawes. For some reason, Hawes wanted to played like a point center in the first half, and it wasn't pretty.
- More Kemba and an aggressive Lin with some clutch shots and drives completed the victory in overtime.
- Wonder why Cauley-Stein didn't get more time, I was interested in seeing him play.
- Kemba plays so much like a SG instead of a PG. His percentages are very good 14 games into the season, and I hope it's a sign of his true talent given a better set of teammates. I guess it makes a big difference to take open shots rather than last second buzzer beaters under pressure.
- Still, we should have beaten this Kings team more assuredly than with a frantic comeback.

The hornets can't play great every game or all game. The fact that they didn't play well as a team at times and still win bodes well. The fact that the kings do not have a better record is not because of lack of talent.

One of the big factors that helped last night was the screens provided by the bigs in the 4Q and OT. Look at the screens Kemba and Lin got. Just giving these quick penetrators enough space so the help can't swarm on the guards is the difference in them getting to the rim and scoring vs. having them have to pull out and probe or dish. Big props to Kaminsky and Zeller last nights in their screening and it is a place where Al and Hawes need to improve.

If I were you I'd definitely go for the central seats, I don't like the viewpoint from the baseline.

Thanks, tickets bought in central seats.

Batum has the stomach flu. May not be able to go tomorrow. That leaves a big hole to fill. Increase Lamb's time? Lin's? if he can't go.
