People hated Frank now they love him. Hated Hawes now he gets no mention ( which I think is good they backed off him. I actually like Hawes and didn't think he deserved that much heat. I also liked Maxiell. I thought he was a solid backup at the time and got too much flack. Now lamb isn't preforming... It takes a bit of time but we are developing a very young team. I say keep them in tact a bit and maybe just add some draft picks unless we can land a homerun

We practially already have that in MKG. All I hear about is how great MKG is and the dude NEVER PLAYS. I <3 him to death but he NEVER PLAYS

cause he is taking minutes away from kaminskey lin and lamb. these minutes could be used to develop these players. espeically kaminsky.

What about HIM being developed as well...? We are WINNING.PJ looked a bit better tonight. PJ does have some potential. We are a young team why not continue whats working against just about everyone except the WARRIORS. Those other players are developing. I would be more concerned with us going back to big al than PJ starting.

The talent just isnt there with PJ for him to be developed.

And he didn't look better last night. He looked his typical awful self. Fouled rapidly, missed shots and even worse, took some terrible shots.

To be fair, I'm not sure how much developing Lin and Lamb have left to do either.

Lin is a veteran at this point but Lamb was NEVER developed in OKC. He's probably played more minutes so far this year than he has his 3 years in OKC combined and they were mostly garbage time minutes. He has very high potential. I do agree PJ needs to be developed but he's just the odd man out here the same way Lamb was in OKC. he needs to go to a team like the 76ers where they can afford to play him 25+ minutes so he can get his confidence and rhythm back.

Seriously i dont see the point of giving PJ Hairston minutes, he has shown zero improvement in the first quarter of the season. I don't think his ceiling is particularly high either and it's not like he is being groomed to be a starter because MKG will be the starter as soon as he is fit again. The Hornets are doing very well and have a shot at being wherever they want to be in the Eastern conference. The minutes should be divided up between the players who are productive and will help the Hornets maximize their playoff position. I'm not a Hornets fan (Knick fan who follows Lin but dont worry i'm not hardcore in that overly fanatical way) but right now it doesn't appear that the hornets are a lottery team who are best off developing young talent and if that was case they should give all the minutes to Kaminsky he has looked about 200x more worthy of the extra minutes than PJ, the Hornets have a real shot at a great playoff position why anyone would feel the need to develop a mid level talent at best on a playoff team is beyond me. It frustrates me because I think he holds the Hornets back and they would be a better team without him in the rotation especially since i don't buy the defensive reasoning almost every advanced metric has shown him to be poor on defense.

Lamb is going to spend a career providing flashes and frustration. His importance to the team will depend on improving his deficiencies combined with the existence (or absence) of a more reliable player at his position.
