I think Lamb has to for sure but Frank and Lin also. Frank played a nice game last night. Golden Hammer.

im a lin fan, but i also like this team. I agree with you that psycho T should have gotten some time yesterday, just to foul the crap out of harden

Afflalo, Eric Gordon (I know you have injury concerns but check out the 3pt shooting last season), Kevin Martin...

Any other targets?

Al Jefferson.

So when he shows up we're going to just magically stop missing wide open 3's?

I am fine with Lin shooting all he wants when the offense is struggling. Same goes for Frank.

Wait - so bringing in Gordon or Afflalo makes us magically stop missing wide open 3's???

This I did not know.

They're better three point shooters than Al.

I think both guys are emerging offensive scorers but both seem hesitant to score at times. Frank with his pump fakes and Lin with his last second dishes when he has the shot.

They're better three point shooters than Al.

The challenge is with jump shooters, as so many have pointed out, is what happens when they go cold? What's plan B? How do we get some easy baskets to keep us in the game?

Al does that better than most.

That's said, his lack of mobility and especially his lack of D is frustrating.

That's why I am, as I have been from the moment he went to the bench, all for getting Noah.

He's what we WISH Cody would be and could not only seriously help us now, but could also serve as the perfect mentor to Cody. Plus Noah can score s little on the inside and especially on the P&R. He also facilities ball movement oh so well - which will get our wings better looks.

With Kemba and Lin and Rob and PJ and Lamb and Daniels and Bats and Hawes and Frank have enough so called three point shooters on the roster.

I don't see how adding your two guys helps. They still play into plan A.

We need a plan B.

Our weekness definitely is INSIDE. We need something besides those three's. We took over 40 three's the other night. Just way too many. We need to focus on trading or drafting for some inside talent. We don't nead a beast in there but we do need some sort of value. Even if its just a couple of guys who can get us 10 points down there

\Yea he's been awful.....13 pts and 5 assists in 20 minutes....he would have had a mister game if he didn't get those 3 fouls early...

disappointed he missed those 2 Fts

He was allright, nothing to right home about. He has an ability to draw fouls and he really should facilitate more when in with Kemba and Batum. That pass to Cody was true.

well if he had of hit those foul shots everyone would have a different opinion on his night. He wasn't steph Curry, never will be. But if he didn't get into foul trouble in the first half they win this game....

Batum was soooo good early in the year but since he's come back from being sick he's been not great. We need him to score and we need Kemba to score. I really like this team. They are missing something. But they are fun to watch, they play team ball and they move the ball. I think they will continue to get better....they should have won the last 2

Teddyb, I've changed my mind about Lin's performance. He did well. He scored 10 points in the 4th, drew a bunch of fouls, fouled out Dwight which ended up not being so good, made some great feeds, had 5 assists in 22 minutes and 13 points. And besides the phony "broken ankles" he really D'd up Harden well, forcing him to give up the ball a lot and one time leading to a 24 second violation. Biggest issue was not hitting clutch FTs. Lin has to make clutch FTs, he's too good an FT shooter to miss them late in games and he's going to the line so he needs to be trusted at the line.

I think to go to the next level he needs to develop the Kemba I want the rock late in games and I'm making the plays mindset Kemba has. Granted, Kemba is first option, but I think Lin is a better go-to scorer and even playmaker late games than Batum is. The best scenario would have all-3 going and defenses worried about all 3. I hope they get there when Batum gets back to his standard level of play. But maybe, Batum was playing above his norm or defenses have figured some things out and he needs to make adjustments. Truly, Batum hasn't shot the ball well recently and that should come back to a higher level. But I like these 3 players. All seem like good guys and I hope they become a force together late games and at critical times in the games for the Hornets.

Well Im sure Lin would love to have those ft's back..... Ask yourself this. Is Kobe Bryant a clutch player because Kobe is 2 for 15 in game winners over the last 4 years...We Get Batum hitting those shot again. Keep Lin playing at the level he's playing RIGHT NOW...and get Walker hitting his shots and this team will be hard to beat.....I think this team has a chance BUT we need Batum to play at the level he played early.....

Games like this one are like the NBA rules committee (does this exist?) having explosive diarrhea all over the game I love. I'm sitting there watching highlights on NBATV and one of Harden's drives is a blatant 4 step travel with a ticky tack foul for an And 1. It's just garbage, man.

And FFS, can we get some consistency on what's a legal screen? Everyone does a moving screen 90% of the game but then uh oh, a big guy gets a solid lick on a guard and gets called for a foul b/c the ballhandler initiated the P&R .0000000000001 seconds too early. If I was coaching nowadays I'd teach my kids to set screens by constantly shuffling sideways like a crab while doing jazz hands, it would be as bloody effective.
