I'm beginning to get concerned with Lamb. All I heard from catch and mkia was his ability on defense. Guy couldn't guard my dead grandmother with a penis on her forehead. Ridiculous

He's not playing with rhythm and confidence. And really, he was a big and fairly reliable contributor in November. But he hasn't really found his rhythm since and his D isn't getting any better.

Bledsoe got injured and the Suns are slumping. Good for Philly, I guess.

I don't get how the penis would make a difference?
But I agree he had coming crashing back to earth in a bad way.

Not sure if you guys talked about this already, but anyone notice the increasing use of the Hornet's "Racist Cam" during games? Now, every time Lin scores, the camera switches to an Asian fan in the stands cheering. They did it on about 5 straight Lin plays last night.

I wasn't going to bring it up, but yeah. That's weird.

not really...its happened to him on most other teams, the knicks, rockets, lakers AND hornets. Still, I think the camera man needs to chill out a bit, lin has alot of non asian fans as well, finding them instead for one or more shots would be a good change of pace...People here need to understand, lin is the ONLY asian in the nba currently, and with that being said, he will have a TON of fans everywhere, regardless if hes a good player or not. Obviously he is a great player, but the amount of fans he has is dissproportionate compared to other players. Another thing people need to realize is that while lin is asian, he is different from Yao, (who also had a HUGE following) in that lin is 100% american born and bred. Alot of asians as well as others like the camera man don't seem to get the fact that lin was born an raised as an american, in sao paulo, and is as American as anyone else on the team.

I don't think there is any bad intention but really, Lin has non-Asian fans as well. In fact, when Lin does well the fans will cheer him like any other Hornet. And when he screws up, they'll say get him out of here. That's why I love Liver-Pooty and MotorKeepsRunning. Whatever Hornet does poorly, they are like sit him down. A minute later they do something well, about time. then something else good, ride him till the end of the game! That's REAL fandom, lol.

The ones holding up yellow "Lin" signs were also at the exhibition games in China. Another time the camera was on Lin's brother and sister-in-law who is Lin's publicist. I think they're special enough.

Re: GT: Charlotte vs Memphis Sat Dec 26 7PM EST
I think this team is emerging to a 2+1+1 main guys team with significant contributions from another player.
2 main guys are Kemba and Batum, +1 is Lin +1 in a lesser but important role is Frank Kaminsky.
Kemba and Batum control the offense, Lin is the tertiary option when on with them and PG when Kemba isn't on the court, Frank is a big target, scoring option and presence. Significant contribution is Cody.
I think a main difference between Kemba/Lin vs. Batum is Kemba/Lin seem to strive off of chaos. They make a lot of their own, but can also make big plays in chaotic situations. Batum likes a more controlled situation.
For Batum, I think pretty much keep doing what he's doing, watch some of the passes, he is TO prone.
Kemba, well, remember to play off of guys and see two sides of the floor. No need to go 1 on 3 or 4 when you have others to help him. He makes big shots and has the guts to take them. He has great handles but those great handles don't always lead to great plays or shots. Good rebounder and huge play guy, go-to guy for shots, but sometimes others can crete them for him.
Lin, utilize more of his game but working off of the dribble isn't his strong suit. He can get TO prone too and get them in quick succession. He does best working in chaos getting a lot of deflections, taking charges, getting big rebounds, getting 50/50 balls and being pesky. But utilize more of his game instead of driving hard into traffic that leads to nothing or TOs, use that nice short range bank-shot he has. He shouldn't try to force to his big-men, doesn't have the pass sometimes or they aren't in tune to when he'll pass.
Frank, I don't think the pump-fake should be used as much as he likes to use it. Shoot that 3, and if he gets into a rhythm, he's dangerous. I think he should be if not in the closing lineup, used down the stretch in the 4th more. I'm liking this kids game and think he can be a big part of the playoff drive for this season. His at the rim stuff isn't as successful. Some of it against some smaller guys is fine, not against big, strong defenders. He doesn't have the body strength yet.
Cody is the significant player that can add rebounding, tip-ins, get fouled, knock guys around etc and he's surprisingly good on fast breaks, can even go coast to coast (but not too much, please).
I don't want to see much of Hawes or Hansbrough. Lamb unfortunately now is more a get some good offense while he's on with some rebounding, but he's defense and even his offensive capabilities are not to where they need to be for him to get the minutes he was getting earlier in the season. He's scouted, things are taken away, his jump shot is back to earth, and he's just not one of the main guys like he was looking to emerge to earlier in the season.
Al may be used less and less. I don't know. Some nights he'll be the big post scorer but in crunch time, Al may be riding the pine most games.
