If lin continues playing well, I expect him to jump ranks to top 3 or just outside it, still I doubt the hornets will allow lin to go to the allstar game even if he is chosen, just for the fact that it is a bit embarrasing to the starters as well as to lin. The rockets rejected lins invite in 2013 if i recall, since they didn't feel it was right.

dude, you are just making stuff up. I already posted the 2013 voting numbers showing Lin finished 3rd.

In this article, Lin talks about how he was glad he did not get voted to the game. The Rockets did not reject his invitation. There was no invitation.

Lin got 210k votes with tanking Lakers last year, which would have put him on #7 guard in EC. Top 6 guards would be in the ASG team. He might have a better chance this year, although his individual stats and bench role might not help him in this case at all.

It doesn't work that way. Only the starters are voted in by fan ballots. The reverses are selected by coaches, regardless of the number of fan ballots they receive.

Lin won't get more votes as a Hornet than as a Lakers. Hornets don't get love.

The West is really difficult for me since there are so many great players putting up huge numbers on really bad teams. Do you reward stats or do you reward winning? I went with winning over stats, hence why I have Dirk, Gasol and Aldridge ahead of Cousins, Davis and Lillard.
